frosty Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Exeter at home would be lovely. Win that and we're one win away from the QF. Quote

Clearly you don't think we can, whilst I think we can. We did it under Tony Parkes at Anfield when Blake scored and took them to a replay under Bowyer when Gestede was unplayable in the game at Anfield. Matty, I have good friends who are Liverpool STH and Everton STH. Quote

We did beat Arsenal away under Appleton didn't we when Kazim Richards scored but I wouldn't back a penny of someone else's money on us doing it now. If we get far enough we'll meet someone decent eventually, but let's leave it as long as possible. 3 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Tamworth v Tottenham coming up. Tamworth's manager just been interviewed - works in College currently, going full time with Tamworth next month, presumably on the proceeds from this tie. He's had an hour and a half this week to prepare his team for the tie. The match "programme" was an A4 sheet of paper with the teams on. The Tamworth players had their names reproduced in full including middle names. The FA Cup is absolutely brilliant, nothing like it anywhere else in the world. Really annoys me when people try to devalue it - and more often than not it's the footballing authorities themselves. 4 Quote

Although as I noticed players like Duff and Jansen in the build up I'd venture to suggest it wasn't quite as big a stretch then as it would be now. Quote

All so the big Clubs (with massive squads anyway) can play a few more meaningless games in the early stages of the Champions League or in a Club world Cup 5 Quote

That was possibly the only thing Frandsen did in his time at Rovers. Thommo with that last minute shot at our goal. What a great player he was for Rovers Quote

The game has moved on massively since that win at Anfield. They could probably field a reserve 11 that would beat us easily. Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Tamworth have been superb the first 20 mins - presumably the pace might get to them in the later stages though. Quote
Darrenbot Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Gloves on outfield footballers should be banned, quite a few of the Spurs players wearing them, stop being soft cunts, maybe they should be allowed to wear pants instead of shorts to keep their little legs warm too. 2 Quote
