Upside Down
After two outstanding performances against high flying teams we're now facing the polar opposite in a team that's recently lost their manager. Can't see us picking up anything decent here. We'll have to take the game to them and we're so impotent in attack it's not even funny. Easy 2-0 win for Hull here.

chaddyrovers
Rovers to win 2 nil. Would be harsh not to stick with the same team here that played Leeds apart from Baker for Travis Edited December 1, 2024 by chaddyrovers
because of boxing day
There’s a hint of faux pessimism about this game on the board No sound reason why we shouldn’t come back with a positive result though we’ll miss Travis’s defensive industry and his renewed forward drive. The reliable Baker could well come in to the Travis position and perform adequately. Got to be content with Hull’s pricing structure on this one TICKET PRICE Adult £23 Senior (65+) £15.50 Young Adult (16-22) £11.50 Under-16s £8 Under-11s £3.50 The initial allocation for this fixture is 1,271 tickets but presumably can be extended if demand exceeds that supply. Looking forward to this one!!

jim mk2
Travis is in the best form of his career and will be a big miss for us. Hopefully we can keep it tight at the back again and sneak a goal from somewhere because we're unlikely to beat any team easily with our current impotent forward line. Better to play safe. arbitro
Having lost their last five games Hull's confidence should be at rock bottom but this is the Championship and we know what can happen. We need to be at it from the first minute and keep things nice and tight. The Hull fans will be ready to turn and if we score first they will turn on their players. I trust Eustace to come up with a winning game plan, arguably his biggest decision will be who replaces Travis and who wears the armband. Personally I would put Baker in and give Tronstad the captaincy.
roversfan99
I would also put Baker in for Travis but I wouldnt be surprised if Eustace opts for Buckley. Hopefully Cantwell will be fit to play. I would like to see ACD at some point to give us some pace and also assuming Ohashi doesnt last the 90 minutes, even though I dont think hes Championship ready, use Leonard, not Gueye.

There is an under 21 match tomorrow so hopefully several of the squad players get some game time.
Dreams of 1995
These are the games we struggle with. JE suits the games against the likes of Leeds. We do not have the attacking prowess to dominate many games and break teams down. Hull will make us work for every chance Feel it will be a tricky fixture but one we will come through. My head says score draw, my heart says 2-1 Rovers Edited December 1, 2024 by Dreams of 1995

He was superb at Plymouth and sometimes we are lacking pace. I wouldn't the making too many changes to a winning team though

He’s a slightly better Jack Vale.

That play to our strengths, especially with our lack of attacking options. I'm hopeful for another tight away win but I'd settle for a draw.

If he had a bit of size / pace he'd be in the starting XI. As it is I'm not quite sure where you play him in this formation.

BlackburnEnd75
The team would pick itself for this one but we have two pressing issues: Is cantwell going to be fit Who replace trav in cm On the cm issue. I'd go with Buckley personally but I'd be expecting eustace to go with baker as the more senior player. Baker is a player I've not quite figured out yet. Is cantwell doesn't make it I'd start ACD and play dolan as the

Herbie6590
FAO All Rovers fans going to Hull on Saturday…if you are interested please email Zach to make arrangements Dear Blackburn Rovers supporters, my name is Zach and I am writing on behalf of non-league football club, North Ferriby F.C. Most recently we had the pleasure of hosting and welcoming the Newcastle United supporters club to our stadia before their pre-season fixture against Hull City. Their supporters club initiated the enquiry if they could come and use our facilities before they kicked off with Hull. we have also just had the pleasure in hosting 3 coach loads of Sheffield United fans and some Portsmouth fans to. We welcomed over 150 of their supporters with open arms and made sure our bar and food was available for purchases. It was a great success for both parties and a trend we would like to continue, the feedback we have had from the clubs has been absolutely fantastic! I can see you are due to play Hull City on Saturday the 7th of December and we would love to invite you down to North Ferriby Football Club pre match if you were looking for somewhere to visit before playing Hull city. Indeed, we would be honoured to welcome your supporters club members to our Dransfield Stadium if that is something you might wish to do. (Please note we can only accept a maximum of around 4 coaches approx. 200 people) Thank you for your time and hopefully we will see you very soon. Good luck for the season and all the best from everyone here at North Ferriby Football Club. What does Leonard have to be be championship ready? When Travis or Tronstad have gone off, rare I know, Buckley came on. Baker has only really been used out of position. Assuming we go same again beside replacing Travis, ACD would be the first sub on. Whether chasing the game or winning and looking to counter. Not Hedges. Leonard just wasnt ready when he played last season. Often struggled to get involved, didnt score too many (missing quite a lot) and doesnt really contribute in other ways, ie holding it up, having pace to run in behind etc. He is young and raw and ideally would be out on loan. But he isnt totally useless like Gueye.
Andy
Such an unpredictable away game at the best of times. But having just sacked their manager, it adds that extra level. I think you have to stick with whoever can play from the Leeds game, based on how well they did. Baker would seem to be the natural replacement for Trav, in terms of style? He got 3 goals last season and he shown plenty of talent. How many chances did he miss?
joey_big_nose
We're in great form and they have lost five on the spin. But such is the bizarre rhythm of the Championship Id actually say that makes them favourites. Its very rare for a team to lose six in a row.
