Score first half then trademark defending second half. Our defence is so tight now it would make a Scotsman look like charity 😀 Watch us lose 5-0! Quote

Whilst I think its a good appointment by Hull. Also safe travel to any Rovers fans attending today. Quote

Talk about setting yourself up for a fall. Are you related to Mercer (where's he gone BTW?) There's so many variables in football and assuming the match goes ahead it'll be very difficult playing conditions today, so anything can happen - literally so with the erratic Pears in goal. 1 Quote

davulsukur Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Conditions are going to put an end to this being any kind of spectacle. I'm just down the road in York and its windy and hammering down with rain. Quote

And the forecast is worsening for the Hull region, to include 65-70 mph gusts of wind, and constant rain from 2pm through match time. Don't be surprised if this is called off shortly. Quote

Gamst Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 I can confirm the current weather in East Yorkshire is ‘light drizzle’. 2 Quote
Old Codger Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 (edited) Keep the ball on the ground lads. The gusty stuff will last the duration of the game, and won't add anything positive to the entertainment value (unless it is the ball blowing into the Hull goal off Yuki's head or Mak's arse). Wrap up well all who are trekking East this afternoon. It is going to be a wet and flatulent farce. Edited December 7, 2024 by Old Codger Fat gusty arse Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 They showed a highlight of the Rovers goal against Hull at the KC Stadium (or whatever it's called these days) on Twitter this morning. A. Wharton (£18m) threading a ball to Szmodics (£12m) and the first player to run over and join them in their celebration in the corner flag was Gallagher (£1m). We've had buttons to replace them with. Football is shit, isn't it? 2 Quote

Bronzed A Donis Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 At last though, we have a manager and squad who I believe have the grit between their teeth to out battle our opponent on a day like today in most areas. Although, despite everything, I don't fancy Hyam under a swirling high ball. Pears needs to be decisive today... 3 Quote

London blue Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 At this point can we all admit Hedges only gets in the first 11 for his work rate. I get it for an away match in shitty conditions but seeing his name in the starting 11 saddens me. 2 Quote
Hannoverover Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 No academy graduates starting today. When was the last time that happened!? Quote

Hannoverover Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Just seen today is the 700th consecutive match day squad, so that answers half of the question. Must be a while without a starter though. 1 Quote
