Great result. We keep waiting for rhe shoe to drop. It hasn't.

How great is that. Win a few more over Christmas and our owners have a few decisions to make. Except their hands are tied until after the court case I believe.

I wasn't very confident pre match I must admit. Mainly because we just seem to struggle, badly on a Tuesday night away day.

What transpired was exactly the performance we've been missing for years now! Grinding out a difficult win, every man knowing his role and executing it well. What a difference some experience makes too, again what we've been missing. Batth has really grown on me and Hyam too seems a different player with him in the trenches with him.

We're still walking a bit of a tightrope when it comes to injuries and suspension, we can cope with the odd 1 here and there but really need to avoid any lengthy ones to key players. Of course the owners could help ease this strain, will they fuck though.

Wtf was that non-penalty about? You don't really get much in the way of replays on ifollow but it looked absolutely nailed on? That said, we were due a dodgy decision against us, thankfully it didn't cost us.

But it didn't. Get over it.

I was over it the second I posted it until you piped up. You said he did nothing wrong, well, he did. A clean sheet doesn't automatically mean a flawless goalkeeping performance.

Behind the goal replay on Sky showed Gueye knocking the ball forward with his arm as he turned before he was fouled.

Eustace is the type of manager we've needed for years. Someone who knows how to build from the back and grind out wins. This is what I was hoping for when he joined us - cheers to Big Club - a monumentally stupid decision to sack him, but their loss was our gain.

Yeah I thought he'd whacked it with his hand, a free kick wasn't given though was it?

So 4 away wins for the first time since…… last season lol. They mentioned it on the commentary but if i hadn’t have heard it I would have thought it was a good few years since we last managed that.

After all the talk of how well Sunderland have done we’re a home game against Portsmouth away from going above them in the league.

Get in, what a win again

For all the jokes Big Mak was genuinely class with nearly every involvement at either end

Commentators genuinely begrudge us doing well they clearly feel we don’t deserve it

Sky commentators totally biased to Wednesday just as they were v Boro. One of them even kept referring to "we" in his comments about Wednesday. Why do Rovers always always get this treatment from Sky? The commentators they put out don't even pretend to be impartial and mostly haven't even done their homework on Rovers..

I know we’re all feeling optimistic right now but we’d have to win by 8 😄

Another unexpected win! Hats off to the manager for getting the most out of a very limited squad. Long may it continue. Even one of our misfit forwards scored. Cantwell,s silly yellow card the only blot on a very satisfying evening
