I’m pretty convinced it’s all a clever ploy to get corporate tickets sold to away fans. After all, what’s 3,000 extra away fans if you can have 1,500 away fans in the corporate section?

Limited to number of away tickets ✅ 

Price corporate tickets in a way which they’re affordable to a keen away fan ✅ 

Put corporate tickets on sale to Burnley fans, let them wear club colours ✅

At what point do we think they open Blackburn End Upper? There’s 4 of us want tickets (all on recent Rovers database) but a couple of the lads don’t fancy Riverside.

Down to the last 2000 now which when you factor in a few hundred will be restricted view seats in the Riverside they really need to be getting it open this week.

Knowing this lot though they'll leave it to 3 days before the game and then do it.

It's of great benefit to vocal support from the home end and get that Derby crowd past 25k

We see how it looks and sounds on several occasions when the Darwen End is full.

We seem to have a new corporate salesman that is targeting people on social media trying to sell hospitality packages to away fans so could be right

I agree Blackburn End Upper needs releasing I reckon more sales would rocket knowing people have a better view than Riverside and its where all the noise is at not long now they need to open it pretty soon look daft if it's half full or sporadic opening it a few days before

Even if they don't sell out the upper tier it would look and sound a whole lot better than 3k empty seats in a stand.

How about opening the end blocks of the Riverside and JW lower first.

Is a 1,000 netted off seats in the Darwen End lower not enough segregation? A line of stewards seems to do the trick at most other derbies.

Swags clearly saving pennies on stewards, staff and police.

If we carry on winning then i think we will sell most seats left available. If we go into our usual xmas dip then i can't see us shifting many more tickets personally.

Personally don't think the upper tier BBE is needed.

I do, irrespective of selling EVERY single ticket in the Riverside. 

Only 1.6k left now, with 17 days left of sales.

I'd be very surprised if it wasn't opened, but then again, we all know a certain Mr Waggot..

I think it would really enhance sales. Can only be a good thing. I know if I had looked for a ticket and other sections were relatively full or in some cases full, I'd be saying do I want a Riverside seat or a full choice of blackburn end seats.

Emailed last night and said a few of us would like to go but didn’t fancy Riverside restricted view/front rows if it pours down. In fairness, a quick reply. Let’s hope they open it as I’m very confident we will sell the majority of tickets in there.

Still far too many green seats within the Riverside for my liking, for both Boxing Day and the 4th January. A plea to all stay aways and folk home for Xmas, let’s get behind our team and at least get a sell out of the available ground and leave them with no option but to open up the BBE upper tier. COYB

With two and a half weeks to go the Dingle game is already looking like it will be our highest home areas Championship turnout since 2001, and that’s with only 9,000 ST holders to build from, no question the floating support is getting behind the team and turning out for it.

Feels like people are prioritising the Burnley match over the other home games at Christmas. The Hull game would have been perfect for reduced prices. 

I recall we got a relatively decent crowd for the Bournemouth home game a couple of years ago, when they opened the Darwen End. Must have been around 19/20k home fans. 

This will almost certainly be the highest attendance for a game without price reductions.
