What is a Tifo ?

Glad it wasn't just me! I had to google it.

It's basically where you get a load of fans to hold up say, pieces of card or something which when all done together either spells out a message or picture etc. You'll have seen it loads of times, as I have, but like you, I'd no idea it was called a Tifo. Example below from when Spurs did it for Harry Kane although there's much more impressive ones from abroad if you google it. No doubt anything that Rovers do will be equally underwhelming if the 'Rovers' in white bin bags in the Darwen End upper are anything to go by!.

I’m really hoping that the tickets continue to sell well for Burnley but also hoping that the Boxing Day match sales pick up, still plenty of green availability on the day that traditionally would provide a really good local turnout.

Hadn't been keeping an eye on tickets and hadn't realised that BBE lower was sold out.  Thought I'd be stuck in Walkersteel but delighted to be in the upper tier now. Happy days.

Also in there. Be a cracking atmosphere up there I reckon.
Everyone giddy on their cans of warm Fosters. Wonder if they’ll bother to give it a dust first…

Yes the club absolutely should be doing these things. The club previously abandoned the traditional Rovers strongholds such as the Hyndburn towns. Indeed we seemingly backed down to Stanley chairman Andy Holt a few years ago, who complained on Twitter about Rovers community trust going into Hyndburn schools. Hence Stanley have dished out free shirts every year. Places like Rishton, Ossy, Harwood etc are as close to Blackburn as they are Accy, nevermind some made up Hyndburn boundary, and Rovers should go back to being active in these schools.

I agree 100% completely. I remember with great memories about Blackburn Rovers doing a 4 day summer football training camp during the my time at Peel Park Primary School in Accrington. it was around 1995

On the positive, I do get the impression that the penny has dropped in recent months within the Rovers hierarchy. Hopefully they now recognise there has been a demographic shift of our support, largely away from Blackburn to the surrounding areas in a 10 mile radius. And also a recognition that we get support from across east Lancs and parts of central/ north Lancs. The club do now seem to be broadening their horizons outside of solely BB1.

Deffo we should be engaging in different areas like Hyndburn or Chorley or Ribble Valley.

looks like there has been 700 sales for the dingles game and 400 for Sunderland, in the last 24 hours.  The dingles number involves a bit of guess work with the switching on and off of blocks.

I was down at the club shop yesterday afternoon. There was a steady stream of folk buying tickets for both Boxing Day and the Dingles. One person in particular bought 11 tickets for Boxing Day!

I wasn’t going to, but given they’ve requested flags I’m going to bring my 16ft “Venky’s Out, Waggott Out” flag.

Maybe now we've got the numbers we can start singing it again 🤣

About 900 left in the Riverside, 200 or so in the open BBE upper and then another 1300ish not available for sale.

Total of around 2400 remaining.

I imagine we won’t need them but another 500 or so in the netted off areas of the JWL and Riverside too theoretically… of course could we dare only have a thousand seats of segregation in the Darwen end 😱

Anyone else got tickets for the BBE Upper that say 'unreserved seating' on them?

Hopefully they're not that stupid, it would be total chaos if so.

Does it give the set number and row you thought you had bought or just reserved seating?
