Definitely wouldnt want Buckley to be put in any Championship, let alone this one.

If Cantwell misses out I would probably go with JRC there and keep Baker next to Tronstad.

jrc at right back and push brittain further up??

No, Brittain has developed into a solid defensive right back under Eustace. When he has played further forward in the past he has struggled.

Same 11 for me

That’s if Ohashi can overcome his injury. Failing that I’d play Dolan up front before I’d play Leonard there. JRC on the right, Hedges on the left. I’d still rather have Cantwell than Weimann behind the striker. Save Gueye for the second half.

Bit of a shame about Hannibal, he looked like getting sent off against us last time out and isn’t the best

Just seen that Hannibal got sent off for the dingles...That'll do nicely.

Oh no, he's really shit, I wanted him to play.

The ideal scenario would have been Travis winding him up all match.

Sounds like Cantwell won’t be well enough to start and Yuki will be out. So, assuming there’s no other niggles or illness, I’m going for the same team as started at Leeds, with Gueye in for Yuki.

Subs - Toth, Mcfadz, Litherland, JRC, Buckley, OG Macken, ACD, Cantwell, Leonard

Rovers 2 - 0 Burnley

Not only is beating the unwashed so big but it’s also big for attendance, a complete performance and result could add a few k to the gate for the rest of the season

That's assuming the club will sell people the tickets which at present they are trying their very best to not do.

I'd be terrified if Gueye had to start in this game. Not from a playing perspective as he's contributed lately, I can just imagine him letting the occasion get to him, then doing something ridiculous and getting sent off.

IF we did somehow get a win though his dingle baiting would be absolutely phenomenal at full time. He was winding Leeds fans up yesterday pretending to cry then blowing them kisses 🤣

I would go for Leonard if Ohashi isn't fit. Cantwell would start from the bench. Gueye from the bench.

Excellent. Love him! Just wish he could shoot. But he's there in the box when things happen for us so he does play a role no-one else does.

That’d be like starting with 10. The lad is nowhere near ready for this level. I don’t like saying it but that’s the reality of the situation.

That's where I disagree. Big fan of Leonard and I think he was decent enough in tough away game

What did he do Chaddy ? Apart from put our best chance of the game over the bar. The lad isn’t ready. He kept making mistakes and gradually went into his shell. Yesterday what was required was for him to put himself about and run the channels, he couldn’t even do that.  I thought that was obvious.

Some decent link play/hold up play, had a very good chance, kept our defensively shift

Tbf whilst I like Leonard and you could say having a good chance demonstrates good positioning, I'm not really sure that missing a good chance is evidence of a good game.

I think you're being harsh

He was defending from the front and dropped off to stop Leeds passing through midfield. I'm pretty sure that would have been his brief too. We had 30% possession yesterday which doesn't give any striker a lot to feed off.

You were there and I wasn’t so I respect your opinion. Watching on TV will never give you the full picture of what’s going on out on the pitch . However, would you be happy starting him on Saturday ? I wouldn’t be.

Mm, he gets chances but how many end up in the back of the net ? At least Rhodes put his chances away most of the time.

He’s barely played all season, on the back of a long term injury. When he did, he stuck it in the net in a very ‘Jordan Rhodes’ position.

I’m all for judging the lad, but Leeds away coming off the bench hardly seems like the fairest in isolation.

I would be happy for him to start ahead of Gueye but Ohashi would be my first choice if he is fit.
