Trying to convince the kids to brush their teeth  so we can set off and make sure we're 2 hours early...

I think I'd play Leonard to start with Gueye coming on for 2nd half chaos, we just look one dimensional with him starting.

Cantwell - great if he plays but certainly not the end of the world if he's on the bench and it would be interesting to see how he can change a game from sub

Overall - a result today feels like it could be season defining

As opposed to zero dimensional when he's not? I'd rather he has 60-70 minutes to cause chaos than 20.

Cantwell plays if fit, Gueye plays if fit. Don't overcomplicate things.

I'd have Dolan and ACD as my wingers

I don’t want to win by a dodgy decision. I want to win through skill and hard work. Don’t want any ‘but you wouldn’t have won if…’ Please Rovers, get the win, but whatever happens show real (controlled) passion. Looking forward to the match but nervous!

Really hope Cantwell is fully fit. Him, Hedges and Dolan, with Leonard up top - whilst he didn’t show too much against Leeds he did some good defensive work, and hopefully with Cantwell behind him, he can find some space. ACD and Gueye to come on!

My Facebook is filled with Burnely pages because they talk about Rovers so bloomin much! Come on Rovers!

I'm one of Leonard's biggest fans on here (same with BBD and Brittain when they were getting pelters - you could see they were good players), but he's not ready yet.

That year out with injury has really stunted his development. He needs 6 months starting every week in L1. If he's in our squad come 1 Feb we've had a bad transfer window.

Anyone starting Leonard in this game is mental in my eyes.

Like the kid but he's not ready as you said.

Unfortunately I’ll be watching from home. The 310 mile round trip with all of the weather warnings in place for later on just wasn’t a good move. Hopefully it’ll be better for the Preston game at the end of the month as that’s my next planned home trip. Oxford and Bristol make it a busy football month for me but this is obviously  sickener to miss 😞

line up will be tricky. Last time we played them we had Carter and Hyam at the back whjch never looked as settled as Batth and Hyam have recently. We’ll miss Travis massively for this one but hoping Baker can do a job. He was ok at Leeds and I’m not sure JRC or Buckley have done enough to start in front of him.

Get into them early doors and make it a diffficult game for them. Hopefully they will attack us and we can take advantage of the gaps in a similar way to we did against Leeds at Ewood. If they sit back we could end up struggling like we did against Stoke and Hull.

We just need to win. That’s the long and short of it

Dingle Derby Day Dawns...

Whilst I feel we have made massive progress under JE, I still can't shake off the feeling that the Dingles will have too much about them to allow us to restore our pride in the way we most surely all hope we will one day. Football is tidal, tribal and terrible for letting fans down at crucial moments, and we had many years of similar financial, tactical, professional and performative superiority that our six fingered 'cuzzins' down the road had to endure in the way we have been force fed by the Venky era. We'd all love it if it was a level playing field again, or even better if the odds were stacked in the Blue and White favour...

It is a game of football. We have home advantage and a wily and insightful manager who is getting more than a decent tune from his well drilled team of misfits, might-have-beens, and folk-heroes in the making.. All we can do is our best, on the field and from the sidelines. So, one and all -

COYB!!

Well I'm glad someone somewhere has seen sense and released the rest of the upper tier. Of course this contradicts the clubs claim earlier in the week that no more would be released, so I wonder whether someone higher up the chain has had a word and told them to get whatever it was sorted out and quickly.

This should free up an additional 500 tickets. Hopefully they go and then they can unlock the end blocks of the Riverside and JW lower and actually have a real home sell out.

What's the ticket sale count currently?

Well said, however Leeds had a lot about them too and were shut down. I think Eustace might implement that 'mode' if things get squeaky... operation Blue N White Brick Wall!

Get at em early one in the first half would be great

So so nervous and excited for this one. The big one! I guess I’m on the same camp as most here when it comes to expectations. Play for the badge and (most importantly) the fans, give it your all, and we will be happy. I also believe we will win if this can be done thouroghly, but that remains to be seen.

It’s still a derby and anything can happen. Look at Rangers - Celtic. I believe we have a really good chance at bringing the pride back to Ewood today. Eustaces blue and white army! COYB!

Not sure it's the game for ACD from the off, thought he was quite poor against Leeds. Maybe Hedges for Dolan just for the defensive duties.

Not sure why but JRC hasnt started.for a while, he's made an impact when he's come on though.

I hope Eustace has taken Gueye to one side this morning. We don’t need any more red cards.

That's why I don't think I'd start with him, it's a long haul from the first half to the whistle on 10 men. Leonard to start then bring on Papi
