Salgados Hair Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Those Venkys banners in the Jack Walker lower are turning green, much like the rest of the ground.. 1 Quote

NeilInBristol Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Giving the ball away from our own goal kick by trying to play from the back is pathetic..not how to score, only how to concede Quote
London blue Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Real lack of quality coming out from the back and midfield at the moment. 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 4 Backroom Posted January 4 Beck, Cantwell and ACD in particular so poor so far. 1 Quote
moerpho Posted January 4 Posted January 4 It’s the same story as most games this season. We are more or less solid as rock in defense, but really not much up top despite producing some wonderful goals from time to time. We really miss Travis. 1 Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) We have been poor, they aren’t much better but we are playing to their beat at the moment. Poor on the ball for us, cantwell either has to go off or get into it Edited January 4 by Bbrovers2288 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 4 Backroom Posted January 4 See that ball from Gueye was too heavy for Cantwell but he just gave up on it, really poor, if he’s not fit get him off 2 Quote

USABlue Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Cantwell bit of a passenger today, did not even try for that oass from BigMac. We suck at set pieces. Very very poor 1 Quote
NeilInBristol Posted January 4 Posted January 4 8 corners so far.. all amount to nothing. Such a waste! 1 Quote
London blue Posted January 4 Posted January 4 I think the pass from Mak was a poor one, camera angle betrayed it a little. 1 Quote

Forever Blue Posted January 4 Posted January 4 People seem to be forgetting their team cost £150m plus. We’re doing well with what we’ve got. 7 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Weimann for Cantwell at half time for me. He's been poor. 1 Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Telling you this has 1 nil Burnley written all over it, they won't do much bar have one moment and that's it, they are jammy and always pull a result out. 1 Quote
Upside Down Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Big problem comes when we need to make subs. That bench is awful. 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted January 4 Backroom Posted January 4 (edited) Solid performance so far, we just have very little attacking threat - but we knew that going in. Main positive is that we've restricted Burnley to having little to no opportunities. Need to do better on set pieces as this is our most likely avenue of scoring. Most of our corners have been very disappointing and free kicks not much better. Hopefully we'll improve that in the 2nd half. Edited January 4 by DE. 1 Quote
rovers11 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Both teams lacking a lot of quality going forward. That's understandable for us as we shop in the bargain basement year after year, but poor for that lot given the budget they have. One goal will win this. 1 Quote
moerpho Posted January 4 Posted January 4 We have totally contained them. Zero shots on goal and no real chances, but I think this is a game between to defensive teams. Not expecting much different 2nd half. As long as it’s 0-0 we are even odds to win this. COYB!!! 1 Quote
RutlandRover Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Burnley didn't have a single shot all half. Our attacking threat has been insipid as usual but Gueye's actually been quite useful with headers and the occasional ball carrying. Cantwell needs to come off for Weimann. 1 Quote
