Weak performance especially from the attacking third. Cantwell is so so poor, cant even do simple passes right. Zero attacking threat and our goals column speaks for itself. We need an attacking midfielder in the middle of the pitch and one striker who can finish off any half chances we have.

The players worked hard but the quality just isn't there. For what it's worth, nor was it for Burnley save for one moment which decided the game. It certainly wasn't obvious that one team had spent a fortune on their squad whilst the other had seen their squad systematically dismantled by inept, disgraceful owners over multiple periods spanning a decade plus.

Burnley have let in 9 goals so far this season. 9. If we were going to score today we would need something really really special. I think the boys really tried, but the lack of quality was glaring today. Still we didn’t roll over when going behind so that’s progression at least. We really missed Travis today….again. And we really desperatly need a striker. Now.

Very tight game, probably Burnley edged it. After the first 15 mins we  didnt trouble them but they created very little themselves.

Really disappointed by Cantwell. We got into some good positions but he  was very wasteful. I get that its risk vs reward but other flair players we have signed (Dack, Marshall, Holtby etc) just havent been as wasteful as he has been. He was really poor. Thought we should have hooked him before Gueye or ACD...

I think they beat us without getting out of second gear. We are well organised and pretty hard to beat but the players cannot string 3 passes together. Cantwell looks like he is carrying an injury and is only on because noone else can create. We need a striker but Alan Shearer wouldnt have done much today there is no service what-so-ever.

I think playoffs are gone and I'll be amazed if we spend a million in January.
