Don’t forget- there’s no reason (well, financial), that we can’t have a go at promotion and don’t let anyone tell you there is, because there isn’t.

If the club aren’t willing to spend money, that’s their fault. What is the point of football if you aren’t trying to win and be successful? I’d probably suggest there isn’t much of one tbf.

It’s not they aren’t willing it’s cause they can’t , ffp is the biggest issue yet shit relegated sides get free reign, no funded the league has lost its edge as has the PL cause of these shit teams bouncing up and down

We have a considerable amount of FFP leeway (I think) due to all the sales over the last 12-18 months.

Cannon Fodder in the top flight..nothing special whatsoever about them. But very sadly we will once again have to watch them celebrate promotion from possibly mid-table.

If they go up, it’ll be at Wembley. They’re not pipping Leeds or Sheff Utd to the top 2.
Burnley are well organised with a very good £10m centre back and a lower-prem centre midfield pairing but offer very little upfront (not too dissimilar to ourselves)

Sadly agree we’ll be watching from mid-table though.

And that's why we'll finish well short of play offs.

Massive injection of cash needed but it won't/can't happen with venkeys. Eustace has proved he has the short term ability but he knows his future success is over a season. If he's still here next season then great but I doubt he will be.

My opinion is he will be at West Brom on February 4th.

The aim this season like last is to stay up , so nothing will happen this month , a couple of loans from Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic 2nd string in the dying hours of the window..

Venkys you have never been willing to fund the club , why don't you sell it ?

We are still in really good stead, win our game in hand and we’d be in 5th, most of us would have taken that in a heartbeat pre season.

Not going to pretend losing to them doesn’t sting but it’s out of the way now and we focus on the remaining 23 or so games and hope we aren’t far off come May

Apparently, Sky reporting WBA want Eustace.

If it happens, it will be in the next couple of days, given the gap before the next league game..

Leeds conceded in last minute again today I think they may miss out

For you, probably.

I was only ribbing -  but at what point would alarm bells start ringing for you - another 3/4/5 without a win?

We certainly can't seem to perform without Travis in this side. Stayed up on the last day last season and two points from four games whilst he's been out this.

Initial cross came in from his side then played back across.

Cozier-Duberry was picking up the player that put in the first cross, which only went out to the other wing because Hyam headed it there. Then you have both Dolan and Brittain near the ball who failed to stop the second cross coming in.

So that's four players you could blame before Owen Beck for that one.

We’ve had a run of difficult games. I don’t think there’s much more to it than that.
