It was good to see Ewood almost full again and credit to all those who returned after being away for so long.

Hopefully we've plucked a few more fans

On to the next one!

It’s not they aren’t willing it’s cause they can’t , ffp is the biggest issue yet shit relegated sides get free reign, no funded the league has lost its edge as has the PL cause of these shit teams bouncing up and down

I struggle to see how someone can genuinely believe this.

For starters ther hasn't been investment in any exempt areas of the club - the pitch, the ground. And my word that is evident to see.

Secondly it's well documented how many costs have been cut which would suggest we are well within the bounds of FFP.

Couple this with the lack of expenditure and the huge outlay in fees - Wharton and Raya and Sammi -you'd struggle to see how we aren't well within the rules.

Smaller clubs than us seem to invest a lot more in fees. Preston and Millwall seem to yet more than us. How is this possible? They are similar size to where Venkys have us.

Or what  about the likes of  Boro and Stoke who spend a decent wedge without having been promoted in ages? Neither have huge fan bases yet can spend more. Does it not seem odd these teams can do so?

So where does FFP restricting solely us come from? How does it hot affect any other club to the same event? How does our cost cutting and outlay not change anything?

Genuinely would like to know why FFP is still seen as an issue.

We won't have.

Many angry men I've never seen before around me in the Jack Walker. I guarantee they won't be there for the game against Portsmouth.

Absolutely gutted after that result. Never felt we would lose today at any point before the game.

I was surprised to see ACD start today. I wouldn't have picked him.

I thought Brittain was our best player follow by Baker and Tronstad. I felt ACD and Cantwell was our poorest players and I thought Cantwell was too deep and Gueye did ok but still need better from him with Ohashi(who we missed today massively). Dolan was decent enough down the right.

Thought Eustace was abit too slow to bring Leonard and Weimann on.

The ref was bloody awful, 4 mins adding on at the end wasn't enough. should be double given the amount of subs made and dingles playing acting, how Cullen didn't get book early is a mystery to me. Just inconsistence with decision making for me

I thought our supporters today were fantastic and the atmosphere and backing to the players and Eustace was loud and proud.

The players looked down after the game and they clearly knew how much it meant to us the fans and the club. They have been brilliant this season, we need to pick ourselves up and go ahead. Would like to see a signing or 2 in before the Portsmouth home game.

There wasn't enough fight today. Our only chance was to get stuck in and ruffle a few feathers. There was none of that.

Burnley are not massively better than us but, in terms of quality, I would say every one of the their players are slightly better than every one of our players. They won all the individual battles all over the pitch and were in control for most of the match.

We don't have anyone in our team that can control a match or make a difference against a decent team.

A bit harsh that we beat Leeds at home fair & square and came back well against Sunderland ,both those 2 teams on the evidence of today are superior to Burnley , especially upfront !

It is the  lack of investment over 14 years , that is the  problem..

We have a proper manager now but I fear he wont be here in a months time ..

Yet when fit, even he got 8 or 9 a season.

I don't think you've mentioned that before.......Lol.

He hasn't been fit in much of either of the last 2 seasons now, apparently went off injured AGAIN at HT today and has a grand total of 3 last season and one this season,  - exactly the same as Gueye.

ACD wasnt as effective as he had be but I dont get the distinction between him and Dolan. The latter, I cant remember doing anything. ACD at least showed our only fleeting flashes of doing something in the first half, tried a couple of shots, got a couple of good crosses in that the donkey in the middle just stood and didnt try to get on the end of.

Hes a striker with 1 goal all season! And we cant score goals. Its as big an issue as any.

As a starter then maybe, I said I wouldn’t have started him today or in most games but I think he definitely has a use as a sub

The job lies with the scouts and whatever other made up roles we have to find someone to be the main man, and we can’t be confident of that

The fact that hes barely been fit and has still matched Gueye tells you a lot.

And just to clarify as you like to claim otherwise, I dont rate Gallagher and am glad hes gone. Shame we found someone even worse.

why isn't Ohashi not good enough?

Hes scored is it 1 goal in something like 1 in 18 games? Works hard but little else.

At least he looks like he has seen a football before unlike Gueye.

We cant be confident of that to be fair. Especially under similar budgetary restraints and with the same people in charge of finding someone who managed to find Gueye. Who even his biggest fan only has down as a lump to bring on when chasing a game hoping to get the scraps off him.

But there has to be someone better. Hard to find worse.

He's as slow as Dolan (and somehow smaller) which is a massive problem for him with our style of play.
