Popular Post norwichblue
I’m absolutely devastated to lose that today. Truly gutted. Such fine margins. We just cannot seem to catch a break against those cunts. Well done everyone at Ewood today - we were loud and proud despite it being a pretty drab game for the neutral. Felt like the Prem days with the upper tiers open. My original plan was to be out celebrating now, but instead I’ve just decided to make a head start on the 4.5 hour journey back to Norwich. I’m still looking up the table rather than down. Looking forward to the Pompey game - we can still do this. RTID 🔵⚪️🌹

He’s more easily shrugged off the ball than Dolan also. If we could do better I’d send him back. The new Saka ? I don’t think so. The latter, I cant remember doing anything. ACD at least showed our only fleeting flashes of doing something in the first half, tried a couple of shots, got a couple of good crosses in that the donkey in the middle just stood and didnt try to get on the end of. Cozier-Duberry lost the ball which led to their goal. Only seen it live, but it was right in front of us and looked a bad mistake as soon as he'd lost it. He did the same at Leeds for their penalty. It's to Brightons benefit that he's making the mistakes here, but you loan the player, you take the chance.

MB Rover
A side note, whoever is in charge of the speaker system needs sacking, couldn’t hear a bastard thing the people next to me were saying at half time and pre match. Completely killed the atmosphere pre match too.

There definitely is a raw element which unfortunately leads to stuff like this although there was a lot that happened afterwards where we could have stopped the goal. Hyam and Brittain got in each others way then the second ball in should have been defended better. I am yet to be convinced either way but he does provide more threat than those around him going forward. The only one who gets shots away or takes people on. He put in a really good cross but a combination of Gueye on his heels as ever and the others not showing a desire to push into the box meant that it was wasted.

A cynical person would suggest it felt like a very deliberate decision to neuter the atmosphere between both sets of fans pre-match

Gav
It’s disappointing to read posters having a go at individuals, I believe that’s short sighted. It’s obvious to a blind man on a galloping horse that we are struggling due to a paper thin squad, a squad that can’t cope with anyone being off form or injuries to the first 11. Mowbray had us extremely well placed going into January a few years ago, but we had injuries to Diaz amongst others and the owners refused to sell Rothwell and we fell away. I’d wager Eustace will not be backed, no money will be made available and sadly we will fall away. The fans, club and town deserve better, but given a fully fit first team we’d have beaten that lot today, which tells its own story. Bbrovers2288
Yea cantwell is getting a tough time on here probably for the first time but we so needed a performance from him today and I guess he was still ill but he wasn’t great, lot of stuff broke down from him. Quite simply he needs to show more in the second half of the season, lad had the world at his feet at Norwich but has been regression at an alarming rate for years, this is his last chance if he is ever going to get anywhere. I get that he needs a bit more quality to work with but even still, more interested in petty personal battles today and should probably have been booked along with Cullen in the 1st half

ACD didn't have a great game apart from one brilliant cross but the goal was nothing whatsoever to do with him. After he lost possession Tronstad picked up the ball but made a poor clearance straight to Cullen. The ball was then recycled out to their left via a miscued header from Hyam. The ball came back in and Tronstad not for the first time recently was caught ball watching on the edge of his own area allowing his opponent to come in behind him and score unopposed. Nothing to do with ACD. Did he have a good enough game though? No.

Having said that he’s too passive for me. He needs to be getting on the ball more and running the show.
