American
Listening to the radio in the car with the wife the other day, and a song by Muse came on. She wants me to let you know: Muse is @#/?. (I kinda like them, probably will download one of the shows.)
Radagast
I thought Linkin Park's first album was very good. Speaking of manufactured boy bands, Busted are taking a break from music. Hopefully for at least 50 years. AESF will be gutted. So that means every band, with boys in it. No, it means every band with 'boys' (or girls...never forget the girls) in it that play - and occasionaly write - songs under orders from (or in order to please) the record company that basically owns them. Anyway, I got two Helloween albums, an Arch Enemy album and a Saxon best of for a pithy £23 at the weekend. Result. Best British live act for 2004? DragonForce, IMO. colin
Listening to "Uncle Meat" by Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention. Sounds as disturbing today as it did nearly 40 years ago.
RoyRover
Meteora is better. No, it's not. Fair enough.

tcj_jones
Any Morissey fans out there that saw him play live in Brighton a month or two back? Personally, I thought he was absolutely immense and it was the best live performance I've seen. Although, the next Monday I found out my English teacher went as well... I feel so old. Some of feeders new album is excellent but half the album is rubbish and theres only 10 songs and I'm loving Keane - Hopes and Fears. Radagast
One for RoyRover - got a copy of Manowar's Warriors of the World, which means I now have the full catalogue. I feel a sort of inner peace.....maybe that's just because I'm listening to Within Temptation though.
Drummer Boy
Just listened to "A grand don't come for free" by the Streets - what a pile of overrated poo!!!
CornwallRover
The best album of the year is released on the 18th of Jan, Fozzy - All That Remains, metal at its best. They're also touring in Feburary, in London, Nottingham and Manchester, can't wait.
Tim Southampton Rover
Is Chris Jericho touring with them as well or is he staying in America due to Wrestling?
Radagast
I really like Jericho's voice...it's a shame the music just didn't grab me.

Anyway, I can't believe that Busted's demise hasn't been mentioned yet. Good riddance. One down, McFly to go...

Unfortunately Busted's demise just means we need to listen to how 'credible' the guy in his new x-treme PoSTHaRDCoRe Emo band is. Actually, they're playing in Glasgow soon, I might just go along to 'support' them.

cletus
Listening to Kasabian at the moment. interesting stuff. a mix of 80`s indie & Stone Roses with Kula Shaker like vocals.
RoyRover
Kasabian are class. Have you heard some of their lyrics, I think they may have been high when they wrote some of their songs.
Radagast
Well I like the video for Cutt Off. Sharks are always a bonus. Shame about the music, eh? Curently listening to a great deal of Firewind. Anyone claiming a dislike for Sephen Fredrick's vocals has no right to laud themself as a rock fan. bellamy11
Definitely not getting the Kasabian praise. I've listened to the album three or four times and it's appearing to me to be more overhyped rubbish. Edited January 25, 2005 by bellamy11
