booth Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 What a great first half attacking and second half defending. Should have had a third late on too. Duberry added a new dimension, they just couldn't handle him. What a talented player. 3 Quote

bigbrandjohn Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Fine win. Excellent dummy assist from Gueye 😉 He covered the pitch well. So many attacking options today. Some interesting selection problems for Eustace Quote

Sorry everyone!! Wise to point this out. Two differences this time I think. 1. Squad has more depth. 2. We have a manager prepared to adapt his way of playing. Sometimes hasn't worked but (unlike JDT) he seems prepared to learn and change things to suit. However the lack of a goalscorer WILL come back to bite us at some point unless addressed in Jan. 2 Quote

oneandycrawford Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Another area of concern is the current lack of goalkeeper cover. Never thought we'd all be praying Pears stays fit!!! Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 One for the stattos; when did we last win seven in a row? Quote
Backroom Silas Posted December 14, 2024 Backroom Posted December 14, 2024 2 teams in this league that have only conceded 1 goal in last 6 matches. Interesting to see what happens when they play each other: 1 Quote
speeeeeeedie Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Rovers were much better than Luton today. The second goal before half time was crucial, and once the Luton lad was sent off it was game over. 2 more assists for Gueye. How did he miss that chance? ACD should play every week. He's better than Hedges and Dolan. Eustace is doing a good job, Venkys need to sign him some players in January to build on the good start. Nobody on here has any faith that they will though, which is a complete shame. 2 Quote
... Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Fantastic result 👏 👍 we look comfortable out there all singing off the same sheet Quote

Popular Post lraC Posted December 14, 2024 Popular Post Posted December 14, 2024 I see that Tronstad fella was shit again today. 🤣 24 Quote
Andy Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Surely you'd have to be straight up trolling to believe that Tronstad hasn't been excellent - and incredibly consistent - for us since signing (barring some dodgy early performances). He's objectively one of our best players and first names on the team sheet, for good reason. 5 Quote

Two excellent balls to the right channel in the first half too 4 Quote

sharpysharps86 Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Fantastic win, 6 in a row is incredible. 5 clean sheets in a row even more so. Loving every second of this while it lasts. Believe Matt Smith is a Rovers fan because his mum is possibly from the area (not 100% sure on that but I seem to recall reading it once). Also huge nerd-alert admission here but I once met him at a Doctor Who convention. It was the day Rovers lost 2-1 away at Bolton in around March of 2012, the season we got relegated from the Prem. Spoke to him for about 5 minutes and in that time all he talked about was Rovers (I was wearing a Rovers shirt at the time). Anyway swiftly moving on, only things missing today for me was a goal for Ohashi and another for Gueye. Would've been the icing on the cake. Quote

I have my own statto today, I cannot remember watching Rovers beat Luton at home since Noel Brotherston scored a wonder goal on Ewood ice in 1977...A bogey side for Rovers in the 80s... 4 Quote
