Baker for Dolan and Dolan for JRC I think. That’s if everybody is 100% good to go. We’ll need some size and aggression in the team for Luton so Gueye would be a possibly starter.

I thought of Baker but wanted JRC in the team

Dangerous- expectations of a win but they have a fabulous keeper and came very close to avoiding relegation from the PL last season. Luton have been hit badly by injuries this season so will be even more dangerous opponents when players come back.

On current form we will have too much for them but I fear we will miss Cantwell far more than we missed Travis at Hull.

You don't half post some daft stuff.

They picked up 26 points last season - SIX points adrift of 17th. They embarrassed themselves.

I had to Google the meaning of a low block, as I figured it wasn't just groin area protection 😅.

For the benefit of my fellow philistines:

'Low block means defending deep to deny space and create a compact shape for teams to try and break down'.

So sitting back then.

You have been watching Rovers a long time ,fabulous keeper, ? I am not sure Kaminski would get in my top 10 and I didn't start til 1969..

It is another difficult one to call. Luton (ffs) have recent experience at the higher level, the financial cushion and clout of the parachute, are a big physical and aggressive outfit and are managed by a seasoned and tactically savvy gaffer. On paper they have the ammunition to come to Ewood and dominate us, and perhaps they might even do that..

We, on the other hand, have a squad that is clearly pulling together and working for the team, the confidence that comes from grinding out successive wins against the odds and home advantage, despite being down our star man and firing mostly blanks up front. I am hoping that Yuki gets on the score sheet once again, and that Big Mak gets the chance to push on too.

Home Heroes - Rovers 2 Luton 0

Home Horrible Rovers 0 Luton 0

Home is where the Heart Is - Rovers 3 Luton 0

COYB!

Certainly well behind Jones, Bradshaw, Arnold, Gennoe, Flowers, Friedel, Raya.

Not going to disagree with your first statement but whilst Luton seem to have mysteriously fallen off a cliff this season I thought they acquitted themselves fairly well last.

There was no end of times they managed to snatch defeat or a draw from a certain looking victory.

Beg to differ. They came 18th after minimal investment in the team.

They lost key winnable must win games to send themselves down.

If you want self embarrassment, look at the £100m Dingles or gave up without a whimper Blades

Think we're gonna ok, I'm full of confidence after our recent outings. Play has been great well structured and well disciplined. There's no reason why we cant go out there and play our hearts out again, at home, in front of the fans who no doubt will get a well deserved applause the minute they step out.

Goin 2-0 Rovers

Raya post Rovers? Of course. Raya for rovers? Kaminski was definitely better.

Rovers 2-0

My team

                    Pears

Brittain Hyam Batth Pickering

             Travis Tronstad

JRC            Dolan         Beck

                   Gueye

I get we have availability issues and an underfunded squad, but surely we dont need to play as many as 4 full backs and it would suggest that ACD simply isnt up to it. He and Baker would start for me.

Its a tough one at right back if Brittain is well enough as he was playing well then JRC covered him very well. Rather than cram both in, it makes sense to stick with the latter if he is fit enough as he was cramping up and leaving Brittain out due to the illness that will have set him back.

Gueye in for Ohashi, Baker for Cantwell, ACD for Dolan with the last attacking spot going to either Beck ahead of Pickering or Dolan. The back 7 keep their places.

I don’t think he’ll drop Dolan or Ohashi, they might not be potent attacking wise, but they are doing the dirty work. Hedges will probably play too, which I definitely don’t agree with.

I know he’s been frozen out, but can Siggy play as a 10? Might suit him better than on the wing as he’s quite slow. I guess it also shows how much faith we’ve lost in Buckley, should be the perfect role for him also.

I don't see JRC as full back but as attacking midfielder so I want him getting into box. That's where we dont agree. I also want Brittain in my team

No I wouldn't Start ACD for me. I would put JRC there.

Eustace has repeatedly said he wants Ewood to become a fortress. I imagine the players are listening. He's now hoping for increased attendances as well.

After four brilliant away results I'm sincerely hoping we can win our next couple of home games and keep the momentum going.

I'm going for another exhilarating 1-0 win. We've had a penalty, offside goal, genuine own goal and dubious own goal in the last four games. I'm predicting a last minute winner, Ohashi with a tap in.
