Of course we are going to lose a game at some point. Hopefully not against Luton at home. Keep your chin up. All my chins are up. I’m just saying I have a bad feeling about this game. Some games are just like that. Quote
MarkBRFC Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Lose this 2-0 to start the new year slump nice and early. 3 Quote

superniko Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 We’ve already won Masterchef this week thanks to Dan the man, based in Langho. Now let’s wrap up a fantastic week for the town with another league win. Quote

BankEnd Rover Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 I didn't expect us to win any of the last 4/5 but this one I expect us to win...We know how this works. Interested to see how we perform without Cantwell. Quote

Ricky Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 This Kaminski will have a storming game and shut us out. 0-0 draw for me Quote
USABlue Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 I thought I heard Luton have not kept.a clean sheet away all season. If true we know what that means. Something NIL for the Hatters Quote

Bethnal Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Good opportunity to try out a different approach. Quite like the look of that team for what we’ve got to do today! 1 Quote
Darwen Rover 007 Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Interesting line up, wonder who will be playing where!? Quote
Old Codger Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Oh my word! Yuki and Big Mak on the pitch together for the first competitive time since their arrival.. and Beck apparently deployed in an attacking role. This sounds like a creative solution to the challenge posed by the Luton Lumpers, and is more evidence perhaps of the gaffer's ability to focus on one opponent at a time - much harder for opposing teams to figure out our 'system' methinks! Hopefully the experiment will work, and we won't suffer a 'Frankensteinian' out of body experience this afternoon, where individual parts just don't gel together. Was looking at Yuki and Mak's interactions after the win the other night, and Yuki kept holding his head and saying something to the Mak.. I wonder if they have a secret side bet on about who is likely to score most headed goals this season 😉 Anyway, it is an attacking line up, and a statement of intent. Let's hope it turns into cracking pre-Christmas entertainment at the home of football 🙂 COYB!! 6 Quote
