BigBar Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Really poor defending from Hedges Weimann and Gueye combined. Undone all the good work. Onto the next. 1 Quote

We move onto the next one, but I fear this could be the start of our normal festive spiral They didn't deserve anything - a draw was a fair result. Under absolutely no pressure until we went down to 10 men. ACD and Weimann should have taken their chances - you always leave yourself open to a soft goal if you don't. 1 Quote
Forever Blue Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Got to hope Travis isn’t out for long. What was the injury? Quote
roverandout Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Lack of quality off the bench. Need reinforcements desperately in January. A midfielder who can pass forward. A decent fucking striker. Not yuki or ghueye and someone who can do what that useless twat dolan can't do Quote
Cherry Blue Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Trav injury will be costly now. 2 Quote

No idea where the ref got 8 minutes from, he's the main character today. Rinse and repeat Exiled Rover comment every time Rovers don’t win - kinda got used to not seeing it for a while 1 Quote
rovers11 Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Sickener but we didn't stand a chance with 10 men. Still, 6 wins in a row before today so we can't complain too much. It's a miracle we are where we are at this stage with a bang average squad so I'm very happy overall with our season so far. 2 Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 at least the annual trips to deepdale and the den are over, both of them hazardous to your players and both sides not interested in playing football 2 Quote

If you could explain where the ref got 8 minutes from today I'd be much obliged. Or why he refused to book any of their players that'd be lovely. 1 Quote

smiller14 Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Negative, desperate for a point crap. Lucky to score 0. If promotion is the aim as they've talked about all week - think again. Reality check. Depressed. 1 Quote

neophox Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Dolan was shocking when he came on ..... is he on another planet at the moment or what.... we need to regroup....Sunderland beat an 10 man Norwich side today 2-1 and is there for the taking if we just perform. Hopefully Cantwell and Super Mario can have a stormer! Quote

The other option is a Premier League quality #9 with pace to do it all on their own, but I doubt anyone is going to sell / loan us one of those. Gueye and Ohashi get no service at all. 1 Quote

Short of throwing Hedges / Dolan / Leonard on for one of the two CMs we literally can't get more attacking than that with this squad. 1 Quote

It was a soft tissue injury (thigh? hamstring?) that they had no interest in risking despite the fact it'd send us down to ten men. He'll be out for most of (if not all) of this festive period. We have five games in a fortnight. Quote
