He definitely was nowhere near as effective as he was against Luton, but his directness as opposed to the usual ambling suspects (Hedges, Dolan, Weimann etc) did allow us to get up the pitch, he got fouled a few times having taken it past his man, he won a few corners having beat his man and of course his pace led to our best chance which admittedly he messed up.

But Millwall did close him down more and against Luton he had alot more space down to our formation but also Luton.

I said the other day I wouldn’t start believing until we could claim points after falling behind. I also won’t start believing until we can start winning points at the death in matches either. It’s ALWAYS the opposition.

Just a reminder that we haven't scored an injury time winner/equaliser in front of fans since November 2019.

Closest since was an 89th minute winner against Swansea in Feb 2023.

Your right ! I might well be wrong but the last at the death winner I can recall was when Lenehan scored against Forest at the City Ground.

86th minute

Two home games to gain confidence now. Let's roar them to a win.

Accept and move on time to focus on the next big games now.

I think the Travis injury makes that a much bigger ask now. The Trav-Tronstad combo has been fundamental to how we play, and nobody else we have in reserve plays like either of them. We essentially need a new system for the next 6 weeks. It'll be huge credit to Eustace if we can get a good points haul whilst Trav is out. Look at what has happened to one of the most highly rated managers of all time, Pep, when he has lost his fulcrum player in central midfield. Even with one of the best squads in the world he doesn't have a sufficiently similar player (or a sufficiently quality replacement for a Ballon D'Or winner) and is struggling to adapt, putting them in freefall.

Seen a few Rovers wins in The Sliding Rock in Shantalla and certainly drowned my sorrows after defeats in The Crane Bar....

I used to see a few Rovers shirts around Eyre Square, and very occasionally around Quay Street and the super-pubs.. Ancient history now, of course!
