£80 with a 16-30 railcard or senior railcard; better than missing the match because of hold-ups on the M6, M1 and the nightmare of getting across the smoke to sarf London

rather drive to games then trust rail travel which isn't reliable or affordable

Good luck with your 6-hour journey from hell to the New Den. I'll be having a snooze or relaxing with a cup of tea watching the countryside go by.

Or indeed for two of you with a TwoTogether card.

I can't imagine how anyone can possible prefer to drive to London rather than taking the train.

Having said that, it's exactly what I'm doing tomorrow! We're off for Christmas and have far too much to carry on the train unfortunately.

Myself and a few other members of the Tar Heel Rovers are having a watch party for this one! Obviously we are on a terrific run of form but overall have never had the best time at the Den.

Last four matches away to Millwall:

3 losses and a draw.

Will be a tough one and even though obviously be great if we can keep the winning streak going, I would be content with a draw tbh.

Edit: Yes I know I got our record there wrong haha. Cheers!

Cos I loved Driving O2G and if I was going to the Millwall away, I would stay over at family relative who lives just outside London for 2 days and drive back on Sunday

You must be a masochist to actually enjoy long distance driving in this country, but whatever floats your boat

Regardless, not going to be easy I don't think!

No games in this league are easy until you’ve made them easy.  Start off at a high tempo, get your foot on your opponents throat and keep it there.

Next 6 games are:

Millwall, Sunderland, Hull, Leeds, Dingles, Middlesbrough (Cup).

Presumably those who would be happy with a point at Millwall would also be happy with draws against Sunderland, Leeds, Dingles (all above us) and at Middlesbrough in the cup.

If that happens and even if we draw all those and celebrate the points it is 1 win in 6 games, assuming we beat lowly Hull who are under new management. 0 wins in 6 if we don't. Happy then?

I was just reading earlier that we in Rochdale are getting a direct rail link to London. It will take 3 hours apparently. 6 return journeys a day.

£55.10 for me (with a senior railcard) and my 13 year old granddaughter which includes two day travel cards for any TfL journeys which is worth around £18. However this is from Crewe and on West Midlands trains as opposed to the ridiculously expensive Avanti.

For all of Pep's own personal successes, the concept of Pep ball that has filtered its way down the divisions is beyond irritating.

They all seem to miss the point that he's always had an unlimited budget and/or the refs on the payroll.

Even with the £♾️ he has to spend now he's been found out.

Most games aren’t comparable really just because some fans would be happy or settle for a point away from doesn’t mean they would be happy with the point at home. Some context is required itl depend on

availability of players

form of both teams

quality of opposition

dare I say it weather and teams footballing style

way too simplistic to say would we be happen then just because some are saying a point away to millwall wouldn’t be a bad result

It’s Lumo, an open access operator, who have done well on the East Coast Mainline by operating a competitively priced,, no frills alternative to the main LNER service.

The last direct Blackburn - London train service was withdrawn in 1959 and it's time it was restored. The area's population  surely justifies it. Blackburn used to have direct trains to Glasgow, Liverpool, Wigan and Southport, among other places. all long gone.
