So no meetings between November and April. They don’t even bother paying lip service to ‘fan consultations’ now.

Yet WATR still want to engage them…

I mean, I’d like there to be a meeting as well, but, I can’t exactly force them.

Even if there was a meeting, Waggott and co were told what they need to hear, (not for the first time), do we think that they will all have a change of heart and realise what shitheads they’ve been? It’s a fairly powerless feeling in those meeting at times, to tell the truth.

No it’s an entirely pointless exercise from our perspective but it allows them to box tick ‘fan consultation’, passionate volunteers like yourself are being used in reality.

I suppose only you can decide if it’s worth your time and frustration year in year out.

The people to complain to, are the ones who said that the football clubs must have the fans consultations. Whether that be the EFL or the FA or government. Point out to them that the Rovers are not doing as they should. Make someone accountable.

He's just a greedy b*stard that Stoddart. He was only ever in it for himself, he's not a Rovers fan.

(*That's me joking by the way, for anybody who thinks I'm being serious)

Think it’s been postponed again to be honest, until April now.

The one silver lining from our latest implosion is likely to be that they cant just just sweep the Eustace debacle under the carpet on the back of the appointment of a new Head Coach.

Im stating the bleeding obvious to an extent here but depite the various postponements of the meeting the same considerations apply as to when Eustace was on the point of leaving plus additional concerns about the appointment of Ismael.

1) Need Waggott and Pasha both there.

2) As 2 promising managers have walked out on them  in 12 months, needs to be put to them "Is it not incumbent on you both to resign?"

3) Need to ask them to specify exactly what it was that made them think Ismael was the outstanding candidate for the job after two recent managerial failures.

4) Need to ask them to explain their logic in refusing to extend the contract of a manager who had done well for them beyond the end of next season but being willing to grant a guy who's an unknown quantity for us a three and a half year deal.

You normally get very prickly and defensive whenever the role of the forum is questioned but this is getting crucial now. I know that for the Club the Forum is basically a box ticking exercise and that in happier times all the Forum should have to worry about is what flavour pies are on sale in the concourse.

However, rightly or wrongly you're the only supporters' group that has a chance to sit down with the Club. You have to make it count. Recently the Forum has gained some additional traction for the first time after cut and paste merchant Jackson started reproducing what was in the minutes.

The Forum has to ask the difficult questions, push back hard on any nonsense they come out with in response and make sure the push back is fully recorded in the minutes.

Good luck.

To be fair, I/we know what I/we need to do.

Does anyone really reckon though, Waggott or Pasha will suddenly have a moment of clarity and think: ‘you know what? We might have gotten this one wrong?.

Rochdale will be the 6th club he's been at in under 4 years. Maybe Rovers aren't the issue with this one?

2 years is industry standard in many jobs for finding out someone is useless at their job meaning they jump ship, looks like this fella doesn't even get quite that far. Always rings alarm bells for me when sifting through CV's and I'm not often wrong on the subject!
