Selling home and away kits with a 30% discount = good.

Marketing it as 30% because it's 30 years since we won the Premier League = tacky and lazy.

Is this a new low for the Marketeers at Ewood?

150% off for the anniversary then ? 😁

So as always run out of stock for months during the season, flogging excess off for a discount in April

I’m all up for improving all aspects of administration at Ewood, but in fairness this is well-rehearsed…they order an initial amount…re-order in time for Christmas…discount what remains at Easter.

It’s informed guesswork as to what will sell & in what quantities. Short of taking pre-orders only, what else can a retailer do?

They ran out of stock in August (again) for months, that isn’t good stock management to me - and not replicated at other clubs.

I was thinking more of a 150% surcharge.😄

They did increase the stock by 20% and added buying some stock coming in before Christmas time.

There is some stock left of all 3 shirts and in most sizes. Hence why we got a decrease in price.

The club would have to based stock required o previous sales. The Christmas stock order will have to placed soon for the 25/26 shirts

They run out of shirts every August, poor stock management, simple as that.

Because they always think small instead of big, possibly because that's how they run every aspect of the club. No ambition.

That's why they tell India no we don't need money look at us we finish x points off the play offs without it and produce 20 million pound sales.

Now madame, about that bonus......

They increased stock order by 20%.

There is still stock of all the home, away and third shirts/kits plus training gear in most sizes available in the club shop so they haven't thought small this season

It's just another example of how thick they are.

Why not take pre orders in late June/July, guage the stock order off that?

Just another really simple thing these cretins can't manage.

The stock levels are about right

There is still shirts and kits of all 3 kits in most sizes left in the club shop. Not loads but a few.

Pre order for Christmas in June/July?

Stock levels have been completely wrong if you have none in stock from August to November but have a load of excess shirts you have to discount in April.

Or sales have been very good over the season and having a few shirts left over in the club is no big thing is it Matty?

How many shirts/kits have we sold over a full season

I honestly don't know where to begin with responding to this.

No having shirts in April ‘isn’t a bad thing’, the 24/25 season is ongoing so folk should be able to buy a 24/25 season shirt.

But as always you are trying to be too clever and miss the actual point. It is not ‘good stock management’ to have no shirts for months at a time during the season but a discounted glut at the end.

most sizes were available in all 3 kits when I was in the club shop 10 days ago.

Just done a quick check on the Rovers store website and the home shirt is available in small, 4xl and 5xl. Away shirt in small, large, 2xl and the third shirt in 2xl.

Stock levels should be maximised around peak buying times; pre/early season and Christmas.

Pretty basic stuff, really.

which is what they have done this season. Demand was very good and the fans wanted all 3 shirts this season.

If you think people are thinking of Christmas in June/July then you are deluded. People are living month to month.

just point out that Rovers increase the kits orders for this season by 20% and we have sold 99% of them. the fans have come out this season and bought them. The fans should be applaud for doing so

Stock should be available in all sizes right through the start of the season right through to mid summer at discounted prices.

Not have a "restock because they've all sold out" phase. Couple of mates had to wait for theirs to come back into stock which was over a month. You should be able to walk into the store at anytime and get your size. In any shirt. Especially in April when the season isn't finished yet.

Is that 20% for each of the three kits or 20% for all of them?

Sometimes the devil is in the detail.

21k kits sold this season. Superb effort.

Restocking shows how popular they were and having a order coming in November for Christmas period is a good move by the club.

Were I disagree is having the kits on sale after the season has ended. I would like to see the new home kit on sale in middle of June if possible

Why should someone be "applauded" for buying a shirt?

Also, 5XL tight fitting football shirts? Not sure about that.

Why shouldn't they not been given the cost of the shirt and the tough financial situation out there for lots of people. People proud to wear to Rovers colours. Did you buy one?

Great question. I read it in Rovers fans forum minutes.

The club says they sold 15,000 kits in the 23/24 season then they increase it by 20% for the summer and additional order of 3,000 for Christmas period. So thats 21,000 kits this season.
