Hugely disappointing result. Makes the next two seem like impossible tasks. The inability to score is going to be our downfall. Ohashi, Gueye are not enough up front.

Eustace has done a fantastic job overall and pleased he started ACD over Hedges for once but not impressed at all with him bringing Leonard on after 84.

Referee just missed a blatant foul of Cantwell as we were going forward.

When it’s against you it’s against youI think we could have played all night and not scored. And we won’t score against Leeds so maybe all week.

Some unprofessional performances today. I imagine distractions of the season along with some tired/old legs.

The worst offenders are Venkys for taking the money for several players and not investing back into the squad. Happens every season and it’s getting ridiculous now.

Unfortunately maintaining good form relied on us keeping clean sheets and that was never going to continue for long. Without investment in January we'll fall away to mid table by season's end - although admittedly that'll still be better than I was expecting when the session started.

If there ever was proof we needed a finisher, today was it.

We can get it in and around the box, but then the wheels fall off.

Eustace has done what he can and our paper thing squad is coming home to roost with injuries to key players.

Ultimately a slide won't stop until we either get adequate reinforcements or those key players return from injury.

It’s felling like the death spiral yet again, which is a great pity, given where we were.

I think line up was wrong and we managed to miss two gilt edged chances, gave Hull their first clean sheet away from home and just didn’t get going.

A very disappointing day all round and one, we may not recover from.

I’m a massive fan of John Eustace, but poor decision starting with Gueye. One league goal is not good enough. Obviously need to bring a goalscorer in, but Leonard must be given the starting position up top until we do.

Poor performance, especially from the front 3 or 4, except ACD. Cantwell guilty of missing that shot just before Hull scored. Piss poor from someone who supposedly is on 30k/week. And Gueye, another useless donkey. Really missing Travis and his leadership from the middle of the park.

Very poor finishing, if we don't bring in a striker we're knackered, i'm not holding my breath.

Sunderland losing, Watford losing the only good news as it stands.

Wrong subs from Eustace (in my opinion). Leonard and JRC should have been the first two - not Ohashi, Weimann and certainly not Buckley who is so far off this standard now it’s alarming. How on earth is he getting the captains armband at the end - that is disgraceful.

JRC to start instead of Baker next time. Leonard will probably get his chance against Leeds when we’ll have 5 touches in their box.

Got to be beating Hull at home if you’re dreaming of top 6 - almost feels inevitable after all the 3-0 predictions in here pre-match

Genuinely a waste of everyone’s time, but there are maybe four players who need to be in the dressing room apologising for a level of disinterest/distraction in their performance that feels quite new.

Cantwell really poor, no idea how he’s missed as many sitters as he has, as I seemed to remember him being pretty clinical earlier in his career. I’m not currently seeing the reported £25k/week value.

I really hope we’re making moves to get rid of Buckley, you can’t be a 5’9” CM with no pace, no obvious forward intent and the capacity to only play within yourself while expecting to pick up a wage. Seems to have especially dropped off after both Dack and Brereton left, which probably speaks volumes to his attitude.

Hull had not kept a clean sheet away until today.  Poor poor game although Cozier Duberry did much for me to like him more than I had.  We need a finisher or two.

Can't imagine either Leed or Burnley being too worried about playing us.

We had enough chances first half to be ahead and also in the second half. But if you don't score you'll get punished. Two tough games coming up. Should had started two up front today like Luton home...looked more like Gueye was alone up there today.

The only way to utilise Gueye is as a sub to stretch tired defences. He just doesn't have the attributes to be a starter. That "shot" managed to be piss weak and miles off target.

Feel we're really missing the rejuvenated Travis, in terms of tenacity and those runs from midfield.

Oh we are certainly safe in that respect. I think he's been average all season, not sure were the hype came from.

Need some quality in, we still sold millions worth of talent and brought in cheap replacements. 2/3 quality signings in key positions and we would be up there with a chance but without, we are also rans, as capable as beating the top teams as losing to the bottom
