Uddersfelt Blue
We could play JRC or Brittain at left back (we have before I recall? ) and push Beck further forward. Whoever plays in defence needs to get hold of Palmer who has the potential to cause problems.

Wing Wizard Windy Miller
Thought Leonard competed very well against a big WBA team at the beginning of last season. Scored and was getting in behind their defence a lot in the second half. He clearly has enough about his game to lead the line if need be. Big game tomorrow. Rovers, of the last ten years, would lose it. Will this team be different... A win makes Leeds a free hit. Draw or lose and we are looking at potentially only taking 1/2 pts from 15 over Christmas. Seriously knackering our chances of hanging around the top 6. We need a minimum of 4 pts from the next 3 games. The Millwall defeat is the one that has cost us the most.

It would be a blow to not win tomorrow, but looking at the fixtures coming up after the Burnley game, there are several very winnable games in amongst those, including the game in hand at home to Portsmouth. I just hope Plymouth still have Rooney in charge on February 15th 😅.

I think he has a lot of potential, it’s just how best to develop him. Perhaps a loan to a L1 club in Jan if we sign a striker. Ohashi has an incredible engine though and is very strong for his size. Id be surprised if Leonard can match that. However given we have 3 strikers and Leonard is one of them he is going to get minutes no matter what. Look forward to him showing how he has come on. We have to use him as a 9 as we are short of numbers there unlike at 10 when we have a lot of options (Cantwell, Wieman, Dolan, ACD, Sigurdsson, Buckley). Poor sod has been pushed wide left for 18 months.

Yeah, but I think he would probably choose 10 as his first choice role. I think hed do okay there too if he got a run of games. Still Cantwell and Wieman ahead of him in the queue. Think hell be off in January.

I think HL is the most naturally gifted striker at the club. I don’t see his size being an issue, just as it isn’t for lots of other successful Championship strikers of a similar size. Hopefully the goal the other day gives him the confidence he needs to push for a regular starting spot. I think he has a lot of potential.

It was said on here (can’t remember by whom) that Siggy refused to play for the U21s and so Eustace is getting rid in Jan.

Wasn't aware of that. Guess you have to go with the manager's call on that given how well he's done up to press. Allegedly QPR and a Greek Club were interested in Sigurdsson in the summer. As they are pros and we wouldn’t get near them in 5 a side every player is therefore fantastic and should be described as such.
