Tremendous result. Delighted. Clearly followed the script with us in a low/medium block and Leeds passing to death -but they had no plan B really to break us down. Always thought a penalty or dodgy deflection might undo us. But cracking reaction to level it. Would be nice to have a couple more pacy players to capitalise on the turnovers, otherwise we will just be defending for the full er, 108 mins 😉

Dolan played really well, yes he was slow to close down on a couple of occasions late on but then he had been trying to break forward at the other end and must have been knackered.

Leonard was poor.

Hedges does what he does in this system. Solid.

What about the additional 90 seconds he added on to the 10?

The camera caught Eustace having a go at the 4th official on 98 minutes. He said "There's 2 minutes left, not 5". He knew what was going to happen.

We had two players booked for time wasting during the added time, so again he was always likely to add some extra on.

It’s always been a bugbear of mine that refs will acknowledge that teams are time-wasting (by booking players or pointing to their watch) but then not actually add on extra time to make up for it. For instance Hull were wasting time from the first 10 minutes onwards on Sunday but we only got 1 minute extra in the first half and 4 in the second.
I suppose we can be upset that the ref today applied the rules correctly when often they don’t, but personally I’d rather they all did the same

If there's an opposition i hate ..its leeds and thier criminal manager...

That tackle on ohashi was premeditated to get him off injured ...in my part of the world ...its called a scissor tackle ..where the opponents ankle is caught and twisted by the rotation of your body.. .. and trying to constantly bait us to react...even with so much money and quality in depth ..you can't buy class

Was that another assist for Gueye?? Great result but one thing we've learnt from today is that Harry Leonard is NOT ready.

Suspect he never will be for this level. Powder puff finishing again and a terrible first touch ended a promising attack. Needs to be sent out on loan and a better striker brought in. Won't happen of course.

I don't mind Farke, think he's alright. A good manager, and honest. Obviously Leeds are total scum though.

Hate to be a party pooper but amid the euphoria of an unexpected point we do have to ask questions about the lack of quality up front and in midfield. Has there ever been a Rovers side that struggled to look threatening or score goals as much as this one?

Same number of goals as at the same stage of JDTs first season (same number of points too)

Thank you Statto. You're always there with the facts and figures.. I'm not complaining about the results overall this season by the way, only that Rovers are difficult to watch and, at times, it's hard to see how they will ever score a goal. .

Yes, Howard Kendall's team that missed promotion to the top division on goal difference.

Just seen the highlights.

What’s the rules on encroaching at penalties these days - is it play on if both teams do it?

Only really matters if something happens, if we clear it after encroaching then retake, if they score a rebound after encroaching then retake. Anything else is fair game really.

Will the backing be the same in January?

Aye, completely insufficient.

Our attack wouldn't score against our defence.

That question has been asked for years.

Sold Gallagher, Ennis, Szmodics, Phillips, Kaminski and Raya for £40m+. We've spent buttons. It was always going to catch up to us.

Eustace has just cut his cloth accordingly and made us very, very hard to beat. With the dearth in quality at this level you're always likely to get a chance or two to nick it from a corner / a defensive error.

What's confusing you Rev? He has been named our player of the month the last two. He's constantly breaking up play protecting our centre halves, whilst allowing Travis to flourish. It's no suprise to me that our manager has made him captain. Excellent first touch, retains possession, brilliant positionally, great team player, work ethic and committment. Very professional and a star performer in a top six side.

But apart from that ?

It shouldn’t still need explaining
