His movement is the strongest part of his game to be fair to him, its what he does when he gets into those positions that is lacking at the moment.

Either way, I dont see a Championship standard striker there at the moment and regular game time ideally in League 1. He has missed a lot of football out injured and it could enhance his development.

New keeper looked tonhave some good handling abilities.  He has too much confidence in his footwork, had me worried a time ir two.  One game he's not had that much to do but looks a reliable option from the brief moments he was involved.

I hate being knocked out 3rd Round! Love the build-up and speculation before the draw and wondering who we'll get.

Personally I'd like a Premier League club at home---love seeing Ewood packed and a scramble for tickets from the away side fans.

Get through to the last 16 and you're national headlines again! Love it!

That recent tie at Sheff Utd was a great game, we lost but I felt real pride at the performance. Cup runs can give you that.

Yes well said. Let's get United or Arsenal or Liverpool at home. See if they can get past our back eleven.

I want an "easy" tie to give us the best chance of reaching the last 16! I agree that the last 16 is when it feels like the competition starts in earnest.

And if you can reach the last 8 (as we have done several times under Venky's ownership but blown it) I find that almost too exciting for words as you're only 90 mins away from the new Wembley.

Remember the quarter final against Chelsea in 2007 at Old Trafford.  The banter we had with the Chelsea fans. Me and my mates walked into a pub with our rovers tops on. The whole pub had Chelsea fans in it so we quickly walked out. Edit I think it was the semi final?

It was the semi. Exactly the opposite happened in The Deansgate pub. Full of Rovers fans and two Chelsea lads came in. Fair play, they got a drink and took the banter,

This was the team we faced that day, and we weren’t out of our league, don’t let anyone fool you about our ‘true position’ etc

Cech, Essien, Carvalho, Terry, Ashley Cole, Ballack, Makelele (Mikel 81), Lampard, Shevchenko (Kalou 63), Drogba, Joe Cole (Wright-Phillips 97).
Subs Not Used: Cudicini, Boulahrouz.

Jesus, what a side that was
