Flexi ticket 👍 or 👎?

Too many conditions imo but the price would be attractive to me if I lived in the area.

It’s a start and at least acknowledgement that they need to do something to attract fans who can’t get to every game.

That said, we already have at least 4 games out of the 10 not at 3pm Saturday (excluding Good Friday) and I assume Sky games for last couple of months haven’t even been confirmed yet? Not sure how good a deal it would end up being for most.

At least they are trying to think a bit more out of the box,which is encouraging hopefully when it comes to next seasons pricing

Fair play for trying something different. 

I've been mentioning it for years now that it would appeal to me BUT it would be a lot more beneficial if it was done at the start of the season rather than this stage.

Hopefully the incentive works and they do just that next season, I'd almost certainly purchase one.

I wonder what their justification is for having the three working days deadline.

I’d be very surprised if they did it for a full season as you’d see a steep fall in full ST sales as a result, as why bother if you struggled to make night games or moved games etc.

It's a good idea. Probably a much better idea than a half season ticket for picking up potential future season ticket holders. Can't quibble with the price.

Surely if you've committed to a flexi- ticket you should get priority over a potential walk on?

Good idea in principle but I can't decide if they've negated the point of it by having to give at least 3 working days notice.

Surely there's enough spare capacity to accommodate 

1) ST'S

2) Flexi tickets

and

3) Walk ons

in that order?

Cheaper season tickets would be better but that requires brain power and effort to implement such a radical scheme.

Chaddy would still get a full season ticket, he can make every single game regardless of day or kick off time 👍

What’s quite good is that you can use two ticket from your allocation in any one game which makes it attractive to couples or friends. Split it between a couple of people if you are planning on doing a couple of games and there could be some value in it.

Im coming up for Preston but that’s probably my only home game. If I could do a couple more it would be tempting to split it with someone.

Sorry, being a bit facetious , I suggested a flexi season ticket months ago, I thought it was a good idea but quite a few didn't.

I think it's a great idea for fans. If they brought one out in the summer even I (as a ST holder for decades) would probably get one as getting to night games is a right faff for me, so a cheaper 16 game flexi ticket instead? Nice one. So ergo ST sales would collapse as thousands would be in the same boat and night match crowds would be down at 5/6,000 as folk will be 'flexing' to the day games instead.

If the club isn't bothered about said collapse in ST sales, maybe they'll still offer one to cover the full season in the summer, but I'd be amazed if they did.

I like the flexi ticket idea. 

I can now choose which matches to boycott and which matches to simply not go to.
