It's something Linekar always spoke about - you have to react like the pass is going to get through, he was in if he did. 2 Quote

moerpho Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) That was a kick to the balls we didn't need. Both Trondstad and Travis out. Sigh... Edited January 18 by moerpho Forgot a word again Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted January 18 Posted January 18 What the actual fuck has the ref booked Gueye for there?! Quote

Trinidad Rover Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Bad news for Tronstad - little wonder after playing every minute. Result of a tiny stretched squad. Cantwell having a mare. Quote

I didn't even think it was worth having a talk with him, which is all he seemed to be doing at first. The card is a joke. Don't like seeing a physical and slightly erratic player like Gueye on a 1st half yellow either. 2 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 18 Backroom Posted January 18 Sounds like a really poor decision from the ref but Gueye on a booking is a recipe for disaster Quote

It’s moments like that that make me almost give up with Football. 1) The 6 foot 7 CB falling to the floor at the slightest contest 2) Referees giving free kicks for that is bad enough let alone a yellow card 1 Quote
Tugayisgod Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Buckley actually having a decent game so far. Looks like we are going to need him for a while 5 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted January 18 Posted January 18 lets hope tronstadt was taken off as a precaution Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Not a booking for their Polish CB for tripping Buckley from behind there, ref? Quote
Trinidad Rover Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Eustace was right on Dembele - looks a handful. Would be handy in this side. Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Gonna start booking their players, ref? Deliberately stopped us playing the FK quickly there. 1 Quote
bluebruce Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Not sure why the Oxford players could come over shoving us while we are trying to set the free kick up and not get booked. 1 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 We're capable of winning this but just need to step up this second half 1 Quote

I used to be a nightmare playing 11 a side - I'd be in the ref's ear all game if I'd seen him book one of my teammates for a challenge similar to that Gueye yellow card. Think we miss Travis for that. 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted January 18 Posted January 18 on the first half--- oxford are shite we look tired buckley is having a good game i can`t see anyone scoring unless it`s from a mistake Quote

yellowsubmarine Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Buckley immense. Hyam, Beck looking shaky. Gueye another silly yellow card. Wont be too disappointed if we get a draw out of this. Hopefully Tronstad is fine! 1 Quote
