Makeshift right back and Travis in midfield or a makeshift right back and Forshaw in midfield? davulsukur
JE has a real conundrum on his hands for this one. Trav probably shouldn't start, so he'll have to go with Forshaw and Buckley in midfield. He could switch to a back 3 of Sanderson-Hyam-Beck but then he's screwed for a winger back, probably Hedges on the left but no one really for the right. Might have to give one of the younger lads a go at CB and move Sanderson to RB. No matter what he goes with, I think we're in big trouble for this one. 3 - 0 (but could easily be 4-0)

simongarnerisgod
i have no idea why forshaw is playing and garrett is seemingly being loaned out,you can`t tell me that forshaw offers more on the pitch,he can`t run and is shattered after 10 minutes
Cherry Blue
Sensible to put Trav on bench and bring him on for last 20mins. Build on this and get some pride back at Ewood v nobbers.
...
Pears Sanderson. Hyam. Beck. Dolan. Buckley. Forshaw. ACD. Cantwell Weimann. Leonard.
SpaceBarSlam
I hate to say it, but I'm seeing this as a match where the only aim is to get through it without any more significant injuries. Give Trav 15/20 mins to help build him back up to fitness and then there's (almost) a full week of rehab and training for the other muscle strain lads before Preston. Depressing that it's come to this, but that's what the clown show in charge has reduced us to at this moment in time.

Paul Mani
It’s a real head scratcher with the injuries. Fwiw, even had we signed a winger and a striker, we’d still be short. I’d go… Pears Sanderson Hyam. Beck Dolan. Forshaw. Bucko. Hedges Weimann. Cantwell Gueye Subs - Toth, Litherland, Travis, OG Macken, ACD, Leonard Bristol City 0 - 1 Rovers - a fighting win

Travis to play 20 mins at the end to ease him back in. ACD to give something a bit different later in the game.

In modern football the bench and players coming off it to change the game is crucial.
duckson
Might be a chance he drops Cantwell to CM and plays Buckley at RB if 4 at the back are preferred. TBH i'd go with Paul's lineup.

chaddyrovers
Changed my team cos after thinking I want Travis off the bench for 20/30 mins and then ready for Preston at home in a week today. simongarnerisgod
i don`t think bristol city are very good and like the old tippy tappy shite, however,as we are very much running on empty i expect them to win pretty cosily,we won`t have the energy to press and our midfield is basically a barren chasm waiting to be exploited,i`ll be extremely and pleasanty surprised if we get anything out of tommorow
onlyonejackwalker
Over 1000 tickets sold to Rovers fans. Brilliant effort. Time to man up. We need a win.
