Andy Posted January 25 Posted January 25 The outfield players must feel disheartened. They're not great, but they've mostly played quite well today - I even think Buckley and Forshaw did a decent job in the middle. Gueye seems to be getting better game by game. Then you have a GK that just throws the game away for you, undoing all that good work. 2 Quote

Indeed. I don’t know what else to call it. Utterly prolonged shit form? Quote
TommyRovers Posted January 25 Posted January 25 JRC getting in the way of a striker's header on goal. Shame he couldn't do the same on Tuesday. 6 Quote
DanielMB Posted January 25 Posted January 25 I really don’t like Pears but it’s hard to pin the second goal on him when it takes a deflection. 4 Quote

You people really do write people off far too quickly. He was shite midweek. Pears isnt the best but has been quite good on the whole this season. Quote
Norbert Rassragr Posted January 25 Posted January 25 The bots and happy clapping quislings will be bigging up the mighty Bristol City and saying we should know our place. 1 Quote

We didn't look like a professional football team during Mowbray's death spirals. 1 Quote

The point is that we have the likes of Dolan have had chances and either taken too many touches, too long to get a shot off or their shot has been way off target. 1 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Hedges can't possibly be a pro footballer. 1 Quote
Cherry Blue Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Team will never to good enough to reach playoffs as long as venkys are here. Ah include waggott too. 2 Quote
wilsdenrover Posted January 25 Posted January 25 The managers don’t cause these spirals the owners/board do. 6 Quote

A professional goalkeeper should not be beaten from that angle, with that soft shot. Positioning was wrong, anticipation was wrong, reactions were not present. He has been at fault for both goals today. 4 Quote

Do you realise you've massively contradicted yourself, look at your posts over the last 10 mins. You've just backed pears and now you're calling him out. Edited January 25 by AAK Quote

Forever Blue Posted January 25 Posted January 25 We’ve definitely cornered the market in shit keepers….and wingers. 1 new striker isn’t going to solve all our problems. 1 Quote
TommyRovers Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Pears is not a good goalkeeper. He's had the season of his career but the faults have always been there. He is a pretty good shot stopper but you would argue thats the "easier" aspect of goalkeeping. 2 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted January 25 Posted January 25 That attack on 90 minutes sums us up at the moment. Open them up with a counter attack, but the ball won't quite fall to Leonard and he can only hit a weak, deflected shot (which sadly doesn't deflect past their GK) goalwards. We're not getting our just rewards at the moment. 4 Quote

Your statement was incorrect, it wasnt a chance, it was a fluke and likely off target. We take a similar shot and somehow it doesnt go in and deflects away from goal, i guess that's luck on the day or lack of it. Quote
Exiled in Toronto Mk2 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Three big deflections in the last few mins all going against us. Quote
