Won a nice acca last year and have taken the family to Thailand with the winnings. I was raging after Tuesday and didn’t pack my Chromecast in an attempt to preserve my happiness. Regretting that now obviously as it’ll be a 10pm kick off here and I’ll likely definitely be at least 12 Chang’s deep.

I’ve given up trying to predict how we’ll perform now. Thought we’d get at least 4 from the last 2. And thought we’d get next to none in our 6 game win streak. Crossing my fingers Eustace gets a reaction. Second team players have an opportunity to step up and “be the man” as he likes to stay.

Please not a repeat of last season whatever happens.

COME ON ROVERS LET’S TURN IT BACK ON COURSE

🔵🌹

Im in Bangkok right now with a trip to chaing mai and chaing rai tomorrow morning. Not sure if I should thank my Thai step son for booking the flight from Don Mueang at 5.15 am or not (need to be at the airport at 3.15 am) so, as I have to try to sleep early, I'm going to pass on RoversTV for this one. Might be a blessing in disguise I guess.

Hope I'm wrong though and enjoy your time in Thailand.

Told the team for tomorrow is:

Pears

Sanderson
Batth
Hyam

Brittain
Hedges

Forshaw
Buckley

Gueye
Dolan
Weimann

Cantwell and Travis are on the bench.

Don't shoot me if it's wrong but don't think it is.

At least I won't get shot but that might be less painful than what I'm about to see.

It's a poor lineup. But doubling down on the 'solid at the back' approach is probably right and necessary in the circumstances. Unfortunately, that  horrible central midfield will be overrun to an extent that it probably doesn't matter how many defenders we have in there.

I don't understand why Hedges is left wing back, rather than Beck?

I also don't understand why Venkys don't just fuck off rather than presiding over this ripping apart of a great and historic club. That team sheet is damning.

beck has played a lot of games in a short space of time, probably needs a rest in view of a local derby next week

this will be a different game to oxfords direct game last week,we`ll find it easier to defend against bristols pep guardiola wannabee approach, they like to play out from the back as well,so our best chance to score might be from a sloppy pass🙂

im`e trying to hang on to some positivity, but it`s not easy with that line up

That's fair enough, and he has played a lot. I suppose it just feels like a bad time for resting one of the team's most effective players when several other key players are unavailable/unfit. Difficult balance. Ryan Hedges at left wing back, added to the central midfield, fills me with dread.
