Just because you're going for the ball doesn't mean that you can get nowhere near to it, head the underside of an opponent's chin, and just have it be fine.

Clear penalty for me. Stood zero chance of winning the ball. Reckless. Dangerous.

A real shame we couldn't keep a clean sheet, but a win is a win and I'll take it.

If our owners had a shred of ambition and backed the manager with some proper reinforcements, we'd have every chance of a playoff spot. As it stands I think lack of quality squad depth will be our undoing, but you can't fault the effort of the players or the manager and his staff. They deserve more support than they're getting from the usual suspects.

Oh well, I'll enjoy the three points for tonight, and it's always very nice to come out on top in a local derby.

Watching from the 80th minute, if we don't have Trav or Tronstad in midfield we struggle to win another game. I thought we were going to blow that. Such a relief for a game we completely deserved to win overall.

Preston were all over us last 15 mins but thought most of the second half we were completely in control.
