Get in!

I live in Preston, family members, friends and colleagues are Nobbers.

So this is a big game for me.

Images of Makhtar Gueye are being sent at a frantic pace around the group chats/social media.

Venkys/Waggott/Suhail…Back the fucking manager!

Lovely bunch of Preston fans proudly singing about Osmajic's bite on Beck as they were heading into the ground, I suppose that's what's considered "bragging rights" over there.

As for the match, sometimes you need a bit of luck and we were due some. Great to have Travis back, we look so much more cohesive as a unit with him in the team.

A really good win, especially as it was against the no-mark Nobbers.

I thought Travis and Buckley ran the game for an hour until they both tired.  Some of Bucko’s long passing was brilliant. He can drop it on a sixpence from 50 yards.

Both full backs are really good, especially Brittain. He’s been a revelation under Eustace.

Gueye again a vast improvement on his early games. He looks a proper target man now.

Hedges and Dolan a lot better than given credit for. They do so much work down the wings.

Really poor from Pears. Got away with a crap punch in the 2nd half that their guy blasted over. His positioning for the goal was shit.

Fuck off Preston.

We should never have conceded territory in that last 10 minutes like we did. After dominating the game for almost all of it we almost threw it away. Where were the calm heads?

Good performance for most of it and Gueye not looking out of place anymore. He should probably stay out of our penalty area though!

Pears responsible for their goal when we were coasting to a comfortable win.

Great to beat them at last!

Hes got a mistake in him, and had some real howlers in previous seasons,  but I dont think Potts goal today can be blamed on him.

Hes had a lot of games this season where he has made a lot of good saves. I certainly wouldn't be putting Toth in from what Ive seen.

Not just me - think Pears average rating on here is pretty good this year.

He needs replacing.

He needed replacing before the season started.

Granted he's had some good games this year and made a few decent saves but tonight and the Bristol game showed that he will always be a liability.

Gueye was absolutely outstanding today. Ran out of steam after 70 minutes but until that point he was fantastic and won absolutely everything.

If we can get him scoring every other game he's going to be worth a bob or two.

I thought Guere (who) had a very good first half but was virtually anonymous in the second and went missing when we needed him to take some pressure off our overworked midfield. He's definitely improving but needs to put in a solid 90 minutes every game before we can say we've got a decent Championship player.

Travis, Buckley outstanding in the middle and the same goes for Brittain and Beck.

So happy for Gueye and it seems like he's becoming the striker we hoped for.

Dolan becoming the master of over doing everything. He worked hard and showed flashes but still continues to be so frustrating...Tonight just proved why we need a quick winger. He had 2/3 opportunities to drive into space in the second half...Everytime failed to do anything!

JRC was truly awful when he came on, lost every duel and nearly got an assist for them...We looked awful in those last 10. That thordarsen for them looks a player.

Great result, and overall a deserved win.

The team is screaming for some pace and to replace Hedges and and Dolan.

The two centre halves are brilliant, Trav is the key and Gueye is a very good target man. The best I’ve seen Buckley play in years.

Get in!!

I'm not certain, but that first goal looked like an own goal to me.. That, ontop of Gueyes non penalty (😂😂😂😂), blutty lovely...  Nice to finally have the rub of the green..  Cya PNE x

From the reverse angle it looked like it took a very slight deflection off the Preston defender (which didn't really change the flight of the ball) before Gueye got the final touch

Lady luck smiled on us.

Dodgy penalty and Preston dominated 2nd half

Hands up, we didn't really deserve that but we deserve some luck

Christ Jim. Even Heckinbotham said that North End weren’t in the game for the first 75 minutes.
