Eustace…GONE

Probably a terrible take and feel free to let me have it, in no way am I defending the board or the owners, can’t stand them and I’m dreaming of a day they’re no longer here but.. my underlying feeling is that of disappointment if he decides to go Derby, which looks all but done, for the last 6 months he’s called for togetherness and this injury hit squad has run through brick walls for him and the fans.. just a little kick in the face really.

Clearly he’s been let down, as have the players and fans but I thought he’d see the season out with us. Depressing day!

Despite the chaos behind the scenes it’s certainly an appealing job until at least the end of the season, a chance of taking us to the play-offs won’t be looked down on.. players coming back from injury too..

Just hope they have a contingency plan of some decent names and not another Kean/Berg disaster.

Oh well, another day supporting this club.

Happy one year anniversary John!

I’ll give him a good send off today, deserves it!

I think the thing you might need to consider is what the existing morale among the squad is, if Eustace feels comfortable leaving. People leave places of work for lots of reasons, but very rarely do their colleagues look down on them for it. Players can’t apply to other jobs and exit their situation outside of a transfer window, but I reckon a lot wish they could.

I don’t think we can underestimate the effect on the squad of Siggy being left out against (apparently) his and the manager’s will. It looks like the final straw. It might go some way to explaining performances recently.

Hours before kick off and this is all over sky. What other club would this happen to! Derby can fucking do one ‘thoughtful of our fixture’ but the anger is definitely directed at the owners and the board. Bloody disgraceful.

It's scary how we're always in a good position and then effectively force a performing manager out.

as much as I like JE, if this is true I don't want to see him at today's game.

If fact Rovers or should I say waggott & co have shot themselves in the foot for today's game.

Venky's you're a disgrace!

Surely some protests today?

His last game in charge today. I wish him well. I don't blame him at all for leaving.

If us fans didn't have the club firmly soaked in our hearts then we'd leave too!

As I've said many times on this forum, not many of us are fooled by our current position. The fundamentals are as weak as anyone in the league and we are headed for league one soon.

You’ve got more chance of us getting a pasting and then some fans saying ‘well we won’t miss him anyway based on that’

Yep, increasingly wish I could hand in a transfer request at times but I'm stuck with the Rovs!

So which managers are currently out of work, cos we won’t be paying compo.

Big Sam until the end of the season would do for me. A great opportunity for anyone on a short term contract, potentially taking over a team in the playoffs and the fifth round of the FA Cup.

You'd have to be a mug to take multi-year contract though!

Aitor Karanka. Currently out of work. Former Birmingham. Former Boro. I think he might be the one.

In any case, keep a look out for any ex Sunderland, Birmingham, Boro, Coventry and Hibs being in the frame. This is about this lot's friendly advisors, not the clubs themselves.

Zero chance of the play-offs after that transfer window, especially if Eustace is going as well.

The club is set up to fail. Venky's is one symptom, but it's no surprise that every club Swag has been involved in has had similar issues.

Fooking Derby County!

What a joke this club is.  There's any hopes of promotion gone.

Hopes of promotion were well and truly destroyed , by the owners and their henchmen during the month of January !

Expect the cheapest option now, probably Gestede if he fancies a go at it then bring someone like Dunn in behind the scenes in a shallow attempt to shield

I would be amazed if the Trust don’t issue a public and total vote of no confidence in the officials / owners after this. It is time that we all re-group to take our club back, enough is enough ! It is getting to the stage that no Blackburn Rovers is better than this Blackburn Rovers.

There isn’t a Blackburn Rovers anymore. It’s Venky Rovers for me.

That'll have our absentee overlords positively quaking in their boots.
