No, I don't think he will either, at best he'd be a last ditch effort by a newly promoted club to keep them up but other than that, I think he's done.

The issue is that footballers and football managers tend to believe their own hype and he'll probably wait it out for some time before the realisation sets in that he's going to have to drop into the championship.

There is obviously the other issue that he's a Dingle Legend, so probably would avoid us on that basis alone.

And also would likely take a bung to see us relageted to pleasington Sunday league

Two exciting managers in a row have now seen through the board and given up. I initially wondered why hed leave to go to Derby, but its pretty obvious after reading the LET article. They sell and Re-invest. We have 13 players out of contract or on loan.

I said a couple of months ago I genuinely think the club will slip into oblivion/administration in the not too distant future. This might be the start of it.

Some sort of mass protest needs to be held. The board, Waggot and Venkys get off too easily. Its not even been mentioned in the media for years other than the LET.

During the game on Sunday, the TV cameras panned towards Waggott more than once.  I think it was Suhail was sat next to him the first time, but there was an empty seat next to Waggott from then on.

He doesn't like the spotlight

Very true , he lives somewhere though !

How are you going out him?

I'm not  on my own, but if the desire was there and the fans saw him for what he is, then it could happen.

Sadly, I suspect that too many people will shrug their shoulders and accept the next load of bullshit they will be fed, this time, about a manager, who was on the verge of bringing the highest finish, since relegation.

Nothing to see here, he just wanted to move for lot's of other reason, but nothing to do with the club/ Pasha, failing to deliver on the promises they made.

I can’t read the article but the comments are “interesting”. If anyone is thinking about organising protests, take these into consideration. There are still plenty of fans around who think Eustace has been backed all the way by the owners. I met one on Friday. Apparently when he’s asked for players, he’s got them.

My current feelings on a replacement:

Yes pile:

Dyche, Martin, Duff, Cooper, Edwards, Carsley, O'Neil, Ismael

Maybe:

Hughes, Critchley, Harris

No thanks:

Evatt, Bruce, Warnock, Warne, Gerrard, Rooney, Lowe

I know which pile we are most likely to appoint from.

I have always thought there is something more sinister to the Venkys ownership of Blackburn Rovers , from Day 1 there was

speculation in the National Press that the whole takeover was not right .

In my mind, they deliberately keep us shit. Any sniff at improvement, they take away. I genuinely think they want to keep us as a loss making entity for some financial reason like Tax. If you make a loss you can offset a bunch of taxes that end up saving you money overall....especially if youre worth billions.

What time does training start at Brockhall these days?

Doubt JE will be taking today's session, to say the least... this can't be good for the lads, especially with a 6-pointer coming up against WBA. Big loss on the cards on Wednesday.

Doubt they’d have training today. Be a rest and recover day.

So you can let him know? 👀

Never met him 🤔

He hasn't been backed, simple as that. Just as Christ Sutton said on commentary yesterday.

He has backed with signings, but he didn't get who he wanted in January then factoring in he was promised £5m in the summer which he didn't get. He wanted to buy signings and we didn't do that. Then add key players who contracts aren't renew yet who he will want

It’s a 2 hour drive in rush hour from Blackburn to pride park, I’m guessing he’s not living in the ground and probably nearer the Birmingham side. The guy played for Watford and had no issue.

He is living in hotel in Blackburn whilst his family and 2 children at living in the midlands.

Today will a recover session for most. Light training session tomorrow before Wednesday game.

A left field name, but someone who has worked wonders at their club is Dave Challinor of Stockport County. In the League One playoff spots, lost his best player (Louie Barry) but has them playing really well.

I think I'd prefer him to a Rooney/Gerrard type.

Interesting to see Hull have had a uptick in fortunes from a League One manager, Ruben Selles appointed from Reading.

Not many inspiring names out there!

I’ll just nip down to Currys  😉

If folk have his email address, drop him a line.

He’s @PashaSapss on X.

Ire in the stadium needs to be directed at him, more so than at Waggott.

Sadly he doesn't look too active, his last activity coming in October 2023. I'll direct any tirades his way anyway though. Just incase.

What will it take for you to see that there's no excuse, rhyme or reason for this to keep fucking happening? The family line is absolute bullshit, the article tells you this,

Does Pasha have spit in your face or something?

I have mentioned it a few times but it feels like we are already being run like in administration. Ever since the court case started and the £20m a year stopped coming.

  • Sold off all the silverware and reinvested nothing.
  • Stopped giving out contracts of any length or renewing ones that are expiring.
  • No investment in the infrastructure.
  • No clear strategy or communication in the medium or long term.
  • Only plan each season for the last 2 is to avoid relegation from the championship (Waggot even stated this in an interview).

I think there are serious issues behind the scenes and they are currently being covered up by Waggot. I would wager that without the Venkys sending over the £20m again the club will be bust this time next year.

Ergo he hasn't been backed. It's simple.

When he joined he'll have been given assurances. Those assurances haven't been kept by the club, so he hasn't been backed.

The stuff about being promised x or y is total guesswork and rumour.

But the reality is, no manager is going to be happy in the light of such significant sales, to be given such a minimal budget spread across loads of sub par sticking plasters, no contracts signed since Gestede was allowed on to the gravy train either is simply not good enough.

The January window seems to be the straw that broke the camels back. A window you claimed to be a good one was clearly anything but.
