Eustace…GONE

Recommended Posts

If this comes to fruition I just don’t see where we as a club go from here, three managers that have left early after not receiving assurances of being backed, that’s not a coincidence it’s just fact that there is no ambition from the owners. And if we don’t have that then what are we doing? Appointing another man to once again fail to be backed and leave , club is going to the wall. Didn’t think it could get much darker but this is a new low. When does it end

Does it even matter really? Whoever comes in is destined to fail in these conditions.

Well you were very quick to having a go for suggest possible any names by myself even before I even reply to another poster..

Maybe next time you will be careful about having a go at people when they havent reply.

I can tell you one thing. We arent going to lose Eustace, take the time to appoint a replacement AND make the top 6 with this team.

Who knows. You are very quick to write our players again.

He’s gone. Derby wouldn’t be making a formal approach without encouragement from Eustace’s side. Eustace also made no effort to shut down the rumours after that game.

The only thing I’m glad about is that this makes it completely clear to the outside world we are a clown car of a football club.

I was thinking the exact same

it really does`nt matter who our next manager is ,he won`t succeed because the club  don`t want any success(playing staff apart)

what about the fact we won 6 games out of six. Is it imposible to repeat with players coming back plus addtions?

At a guess I'd say Venkys are more likely to make him see out the rest of the season. They've had no issue with running down people's contracts or waiting for the right price when it has come to players and it's extra upheaval for them. I presume Derby have had the nod from Eustace or his representative or they wouldn't be chancing their arm, so I doubt there's a long term future at the club but I can't see Venkys letting him move on after sanctioning signings. Whether they should let him go is another matter. I hope he stays and sneaks into the playoffs and that refocuses his commitment but he doesn't owe us anything

In context, that was achieved during the formative stage of the season.

Can you imagine us doing that with key injuries and under business end of the season pressure?

We are like a spider who gets half way up the bath and then falls back to the bottom.

Elliot Jackson retweeted a selection of questions asked of JE and I think they're very telling. I assumed with the quotes of speaking to the owners he actually mean Waggot and Sugail but actually he repeatedly says owners to several questions. His body language is interesting when he hints about what the content of those conversations might be.

I think this is a powerplay. My genuine belief is he knows going to Derby is not a positive step but he's fed up of being told what's going to happen. He knows he's in a position of strength and if he doesn't get an audience with an actual decision maker then he's prepared to go.

The question is, does that message actually get to the venkys or will it be intercepted. He's used the platforms available to him to circumvent the communication process currently in place, knowing full well that those present in the UK will not want him to have an honest conversation.

I don't see an outcome outside of JE leaving tomorrow or Waggot and Suhail effectively being sidelined. Interesting times.
