Well you were very quick to having a go for suggest possible any names by myself even before I even reply to another poster..

Maybe next time you will be careful about having a go at people when they havent reply.

Who knows. You are very quick to write our players again.

I wasnt having a go. It was a joke.

If you think this players not only get into the play offs but do so with the dusruption of the manager leaving due to shoddy running of the club with 15 games to go then your faith clearly goes above and beyond.

Elliot Jackson retweeted a selection of questions asked of JE and I think they're very telling. I assumed with the quotes of speaking to the owners he actually mean Waggot and Sugail but actually he repeatedly says owners to several questions. His body language is interesting when he hints about what the content of those conversations might be.

I think this is a powerplay. My genuine belief is he knows going to Derby is not a positive step but he's fed up of being told what's going to happen. He knows he's in a position of strength and if he doesn't get an audience with an actual decision maker then he's prepared to go.

The question is, does that message actually get to the venkys or will it be intercepted. He's used the platforms available to him to circumvent the communication process currently in place, knowing full well that those present in the UK will not want him to have an honest conversation.

I don't see an outcome outside of JE leaving tomorrow or Waggot and Suhail effectively being sidelined. Interesting times.

Sadly, the owners won't care even if they did talk to Eustace. They will be rubbing their hands together at the thought of compensation payments for a manager they got for nothing.

Why you put that in a contract for a manager?

If there's a release clause, then it's probably Eustace himself who wanted it as an "insurance" to even sign a contract in the first place should things turn sour later on (which it now has, seemingly). From his point of view, it's a fairly good move to insert that clause. Look, he's given the club a fair amount of chances to show that they're serious about backing him but they have failed on their part. He has done a great job in saving the club from relegation last season and now getting the club around the playoff-spots with limited resources so there's no reason why they shouldn't trust him to progress the team further. What have they done to repay him for his work and effort? Close to nothing. They have not replaced Szmodics adequately, they only spent £1 million this winter and several players have contracts expiring within the next 6-18 months.

Can't blame him for wanting to move on if the owners or CEO can't provide any assurances as to how they will tie players down on improved terms/longer contracts and if there will be a transfer budget to be spent in summer.

Even though we're doing well, if he wants to go then let him go. Its his loss. Who wants someone managing them when they don't want to be there. We had that with JDT and then our form nose dived and got spooned every week. The owners have backed JE this window, albeit a bit late in the day,  so unless it's family related he hasn't anything really to grumble at. The clubs bigger than any manager.

Indeed, it might also have been a compromise on a break clause - which it's entirely possible JE considered, factoring in how JDT left.

The comments in the LET are just as bad. What chance do we stand with people with such blinkered views? The where would we be without Venkys brigade, I have to work with one of them.

My issue.

We might get a short term manager.

But I don't give a fuck.

13 players leaving end of the season?

No contract renewal since December 2023?

This club is literally running on a month to month basis.

It suggests the owners could be running it down for administration.
