There's more than the odd one where I've been looking, looks nearly 50/50 tbh. And not seeing anyone who has said this has changed their mind. Emotions running high tonight, fuck me that statement from the board shouts small time club. Not announced as I still see but fully expect Eustace to depart, wish he would at least give us until the end of the season. On that part I hope Derby go down, zero respect for them after they officially approached us hours before the game yesterday. Rovers fans deserve better, VENKYS FUCK OFF!

I'll point it out yet again, if Dolan goes to Derby it won't be for free. Signing for any English club will trigger compensation for us, set by tribunal. Which I'd guess will be in the region of 1-2 million.

But this really isn't the priority right now.

Strangely, I don't really care who we appoint now, it doesn't really mean anything this season. The damage has already been done in January and I don't think Klopp could come back to English football and get this squad into the top six, it's paper thin, lightweight and ultimately despite all the commendable effort just won't be good enough. 

Eustace wasn't going to get us in there and whoever comes in won't either. It's down to poor recruitment and culture.

The club is just rotten.

Thought Derby would go for Ryan Lowe or Rob Edwards...could be one of them coming here. If I wasnt wrong Lowe took the decision to leave Preston as he needed a break and a change.

Whats mad is that its not really a lack of money that lost the manager... Its a lack of communication. If the owners were engaged in any way this could have been avoided. But they aren't...

Next season there will be opportunities to return to the midlands. Of course on the inside of it all, if he has been misled, lied to etc. then no one wants to work for people like that.

Club isn't interested in promotion. The desire for investment despite the opportunity before us will be knocked back because we are overachieving. It was never in the script. Why is Rudy and Swag not coming out all season praising the work of a manager and players defying the odds? 

In summary, Eustace wanted backing, Swag couldn't/wouldn't and he'll be gone before the day is out.

Don't want it but as my Google feed has picked up a story on Wayne Rooney at the top of the page, I'm fearing it is more than a coincidence...

Watch this space...

So he stays at Rovers. Cooper comes in at Derby and does a good job. The Derby job is filled for the foreseeable. The job was offered to him now.

Managers don't really have the luxury of waiting for the perfect time to move to another club. They have to take them when the jobs available.
