Eustace…GONE

Well he should have carried on with the job he signed up for. He, like the rest of us, was under no illusion.

Some people like you just say anything that suits your agenda.

How do you know what he was promised when he signed up? It's not like the owners/board have form for breaking promises is it...

Steve Cooper win percentage at Forest 38%. Spent £150 million. Win percentage at Leicester 23%.

Rob Edwards win percentage at Luton 32%.

I'd much prefer Allardyce. I could pretend the last 14 years have just been a bad dream.

Now do your little maths for their record in the Championship please.

Also check the honours list for them on wiki next to John Eustace while you’re at it.

(no dig at Eustace just baffling how people can think either would be bad hire when they’ve clearly been more successful managers)

As for Big Sam, he can barely string a sentence together on his podcast and this is what he’s strung together since 2020

It's always about the money. He's been offered more at Derby. With that knowledge he tried to negotiate an improved contract. We said no. So he's off to earn more money.

He's not gone to Derby because he played 60 games for them. He's not gone because he is an hour closer to home. He's not gone because they will include him in weekly meetings with the owners. He's not gone because he's got a transfer war chest. Hes not gone for 25k fans at home. He's not gone for a better league position. He's not gone for the clubs, 3rd from bottom, lose 7 on the bounce revised vision.

So don't preach loyalty, honesty, family, togetherness, team spirit and harmony for twelve twatting months when it's all about the dough. We are grown ups. We also need money. Just tell the fucking truth and go and earn your coin.

He's doesn't give a fuck about Derby. He doesn't give a fuck about Rovers. He's gone to grab a bag.

And now, instead of all the fucking useless names of out of work nobodies and chancers being mentioned on here why don't we head hunt fifteen league places above us?

Or get Souness or Allardyce in for four months to put the fear of God into our opposition, rivals and players?

Well we all know why. Because, whilst at long last we have proper professional men representing our efforts on the pitch, we have a bunch of snivelling wankers representing our efforts off the pitch. Genuine fucking self absorbed low life.

Not one of them comes out of this with any credit. Spent a lot of time away from family John? I thought you were better than that. You knew where fucking Blackburn was twelve months ago. Nowt to do with an extra 20k a month is it pal?

Make Travis player manager. Turn a negative into a positive. Unite the players. Unify the fans. Rock the football pyramid. Them against us. If we are going to fail let's fail with one of our own in charge.

But no. We are too thick to turn a problem into an opportunity. Ryan fucking Lowe? Rob twatting Edwards? Steve fucking Cooper? Give me fucking strength.

So you're pinning the blame entirely on Eustace and his "quest" to earn a bit more money? You don't even mention the sheer absence or owner ambition or the limitations being placed upon the team financially throughout the season, despite us being in good shape regarding P&S rules / FFP?

The owners are about to mess up another golden opportunity to reach the playoffs because they absolutely refuse to budge on their annual budget being set for club at the start of season. They are all liars; Waggott is a yes-man collecting a paycheque until he retires and Suhail Pasha is the evil gatekeeper who keeps telling the owners that everything is fine, that money has been recovered from player sales and that the club is able to run its operations throughout the season without any further money being needed to be sent over.

Just ask yourself as to why a struggling club like Derby is showing more ambition than us by offering higher wages and we can't even match their offer or provide any guarantees regarding renewal of player contracts or future transfer budget? Their childish statement on the Rovers website should give you all the evidence you need as to how poorly the club is being run. It's time for fans to stop having their head buried in the sand and start realizing that there's a fundamental issue with how the club is conducting its businesses and how they are portraying themselves in the media.

The management/owners need to stop acting like babies, stop playing the victim card and take some f*ing responsibility for once. They have treated the club like garbage for the past 15 years; many fans have already sussed them out some time ago but aparently there are plenty more who needs to wake up.

Callum Brittain Callum Brittain

Sondre Tronstad Sondre Tronstad

I’d be trying to extend Batth for another year. He’s been outstanding so far, and there’s no guarantee Wharton and Carter will be fit for long periods. We’re hardly likely to go out and bring anyone better in.

We probably have Paul Warne waiting in the wings. Cheap simple option and grateful for the money. 😯

Whatever our situation we are still in around the play off positions. Any manager with ambition would grab the opportunity of a "new manager bounce"to get us into the playoffs. We are not relegation fodder.

Then it is a lottery. Hey, if by some miracle we grab the third position, signing 13 players would not be a problem  🪄🧞‍♂️

When Eustace signed I was a bit sceptic.....

looked at his record :

2016–2018 Kidderminster Harriers
2019 Queens Park Rangers (caretaker)
2022–2023

Birmingham City

Not so impressive. Hes done a good job here but with a Steve Cooper it could be the final piece going up. I think some of us called him "Useless" at times....

Still early to say where he ends....

👀👀 if that's true then it lends far more credence to the talk about Eustace's team liking to put his name about on the sniff for better money.

No, that'll just be a passionate captain's response to his Head Coach seemingly abandoning him.

When he calms down and his head clears he'll fully understand what Eustace has done and apologise I have no doubt.

If Derby stay up I wouldn't be shocked if they come in for Travis in the summer.

Cooper joined Leicester on a 3 year contract in June and was sacked in November. He will still be collecting severance pay from a Premier League club contract. There is no way he gives that up to join this circus for 15 games even if he was confident in getting promotion. Far too much to lose and too much sense.

The best we could do is get Warnock in for one last promotion shot. No risk. Retire again in May whatever the outcome. Affordable. Big bonus if he pulls it off. But that's too sensible and obvious.

I saw someone suggest Valerien Ismael earlier with a potential Gestede link - that's the type they'll go for.

I saw the Dougie and Ronnie team. I’ll die happy thinking about those days. However I’ll be 76 in March. I was hoping these bastards would be gone before I’m too old to enjoy going down to Ewood again.

I feel that this is the gut wrencher for a lot of folk. I'm 42. I remember the Garner days, the glory days the sad days and the Victorious days.

We all take from our past experiences and cherish them dearly. But the stand out thought is will I be too old to finally enjoy it all again . We all hope we are there til our last breaths it really is what the club means to us. If people are really through with it , for now, then I can't complain but be ready to return no matter the age when those baatards have finally left.

You mentioned Forest Green and the under 17's niko. Not much relevance to the Championship.

Obviously Allardyce will not happen pal. He was the first one sacked. A bit of delicious irony, however saying he can't talk on his....mmm podcast.

Mark my words, get one of the run of the mill journeymen on the managerial merrygo round and this season will fizzle immediately.

Do something different like JH says. Warnock is a great shout.

This might be considered one way to gauge the reaction of the fanbase more than comments, as it's a fairly large sample. In response to the FB post giving the club statement about John Eustace, there are currently:

380 Angry reacts

232 Sad reacts

113 Laugh reacts

44 Wow reacts

8 Heart Reacts

4 Care reacts

I'd say a Sad react can be ambiguous, people could be sad at the state of the club, sad he's leaving, or sad because they believe the club statement fully and think it's unfair he is leaving this shitstorm. The angry and laugh reacts are pretty clear condemnation, the likes are pretty clear support for the club's (Waggot's, Rudy's, Pasha's and Venkys, that is) stance. The hearts are probably support too. Fuck knows what the care reacts are meant to be. The wows could be astonishment at the club, or at Eustace leaving, so also ambiguous.

So out of 1,079 reactions, that's

Negative: 493  (45.69%)

Positive: 306  (28.35%)

Ambiguous: 280  (25.94%)

So on the whole people seem to be more pissed off than not, maybe the tide is turning finally. Depends what that ambiguous lot are really about though, the majority of who reacted with a teary sad face. My guess is they're mostly just upset, without the heart to get mad about it in any direction. Mournful resignation.

Most of us already knew it, but tonight shows what a snide bastard Nixon is.

For years now, including during the last 3 shambolic windows, he has been responding to fan criticism of the owners with patronising bollocks like "relax, they've got the money" or "they've got the money but...". Always eager to defend this lot. Always eager to big up the hierarchy.

After the January window closes, he puts out a smug piece talking about the "much maligned club" doing the business late on. It read like a go at the fans. In the same piece he made Waggott out to be a hero for getting Dennis in on a reduced wage.

This evening though, he has taken it to a whole new level. It's clear whose side he is on.

This is the same guy that once called Kean a "wee gem", let's not forget.

We're all stupid though. What have JDT or Eustace done to be described as "wee gems". The club is better off without the pair of them. Aye.

To be fair it's our own fault.

We should have bought his talentless daughter's shit handbags.

That man can hold a grudge.

How are Cooper and Edwards run of the mill journeymen (they’ve actually not had many jobs) but Alladyce and Warnock are ‘something different’?

Cooper has had 3 seasons in the championship and finished Top 6 every time, including promotion with a club that was bottom when he took over. He has a 48% win record in the division over 3 years

Out of work managers at this level don't often get the chance to take over a club in such a league position as ours. It's normally get in there and start fighting fires.

Travis and Tronstad will shortly be reunited.Carter is all but back to help out Hyam and Batth.

Gueye is looking the part and Kargbo and Dennis look good additions.

Get this appointment right and it could yet be a good end to the season.

Yeh exactly!! It's a win win for any coach who has the balls to deal with the crooks. 15 games. Plus play offs. Just come in, pick the team and ignore the chaos upstairs and get us in to the play offs. More media attention the better

I just watched 5 minutes of The Blackburn End podcast on YouTube.  OMG, no one gets it.  So many happy clappers.

Today feels as bad as relegation.

FUCK YOU WAGGOT, SUHAIL AND VENKYS, FUCK YOU!

What's the point anymore?? I just want to cry :-(
