I don’t think anyone can honestly think we had a good window.

I would not blame Eustace in the slightest, if he went and no doubt the club would try to dress it up and make it sound like, nothing out of the ordinary.

Although unless Derby have investment coming in, if I was Eustace I would hold  off till summer.

WATR issuing a fitting response to Eustace leaving, along with all of us getting after them will turn the heat up. The time has come for that. Even if no former player say anything, the two things above need to happen, IMO.

Not surprised if he goes, he has got visibly more pissed off with life at rovers over the last month in his media interviews.

We all known why, the club is run by complete clowns with a budget and approach akin to a club in administration.

He was lied to about what budget we had going into the window and throughout aswell imo

When asked about incoming players, he spoke of goalscorers, experience and "names"

Guaranteed he wasn't expecting a bunch of signings who have played minimal last 12 months.Gets 3 of them on the final day and will probably take them a month up to speed 

He goes Derby and if they have investment the summer headlines will be "Travis and Brittain follow Eustace to Derby"

Not going to be a great look for the club if we lose our manager to a club sitting in 22nd place, whilst we're 6th. Obviously for those of us following the club closely, we know Eustace likely sees the writing on the wall insofar as being able to keep us going for another season, but you'd like to think such a strange move would raise some eyebrows from those outside of the club.

Of course, it won't, but it should.

Why would he risk his career going to another relegation fight...What if he fails that, his CV goes backwards. He wants out but he would be daft to risk it so soon. He's better waiting till summer.

Already mentioned the contracts problems last week and I even mentioned months ago that we should be offering Eustace a new contract and I didn't see you support my point then.

Why didn't we choose that path? We have what, 11, 12 players leaving in the summer, along with players in their final year of their contract. 

Far too much short term thinking and leaving us with a summer rebuild, followed by the loss of several key first teamers the following summer. 

All off the back of raking in £40m in transfers. It's been a poor January once again and now it looks like our manager is set to leave us for a relegation battle.

Not sure it's a win-win tbh. One club that will soon sink into the mire of mid-table after a promising start was derailed by an abject ownership vs another firmly lodged in a relegation battle with poor players and the transfer window just slammed shut. More of a lose-lose if anything.

They discussed it on sky today 

Sherwood and Michael Dawson were baffled as to why Eustace would want to  leave a job in the top 6 for a club in the relegation zone 

No mention of our shite owners, no mention of the transfer income compared to expenditure,  no mention of our shit January window

Very envious watching the Birmingham City owner talking so passionately about the club at HT of their FA Cup tie with Newcastle. Fans are buzzing and club put on firework display for the big match. They are a division below us, but the fans are far more engaged as there is a plan and there is ambition. We are stagnant and it’s soul destroying to see. What’s the point of owning a football club if you’re not interested? Just put us all out of our misery.

Another club, like Derby, that the happy clappers were using as evidence as to why we should be thankful for Venky benevolence. Both will leave us behind in the coming years whilst we stagnate with Venkys.

This is the problem with Blackburn Rovers under the Venkys. The club's leadership is so poor, so absent, so amateur, that stories like this are instantly believed by the fanbase. In a normally ran club sitting in a playoff spot the fans would instantly dismiss their manager being linked with a club fighting relegation. Not here at Venky's Blackburn Rovers. 

In my opinion, there is no way Eustace walks this season. Or entertains an approach from Derby, or any other club in this league. He has his mission of a playoff spot which is very very obtainable. Moving to another club in the summer is another option. I would be very surprised if he jumps ship for Derby.

It's just another day supporting this wacky club.

we were linked with Thomas-Asante and Bamford who most of this board didn't want or rated. 

I gave my view on which was I think we had a decent window overall. very happy with Dennis signing. Woodrow, the more I think, I can see why we make that signing and gives us more attacking options. With Rovers having Eustace as head coach and our league position has help us signed these 2 players. Sanderson, I think is a decent signing. Kargbo, I don't know enough about his talent and ability to comment but look forward to seeing him soon in a Rovers shirt.. Forshaw is ok squad player and replacement for Baker. Its a short term signing. Ribeiro. I don't know anything about him.

what was the budget? 

Isn't Sanderson experience at this level and someone who Eustace wanted given he was his signing at Birmingham and his captain there? Aren't Dennis and Woodrow experience players? 

How much had Bamford who was mentioned to be Eustace's target?

I don't know is the honest answer, but we should have spent some money in the summer and why we didn't sign De Lange for less than £2m, or Millar who signed for Hull for 1.5m or Dembele for less 1m. We aren't expect us to sign players for 5m but spending a couple of millions pounds to improve the quality of the squad.
