Same source that leaks the teams news... Steve Cooper is at the game, set to replace Eustace.

Heard it all now! (Not discrediting you btw, I know how it looks when some info you hear doesn’t come off 🤣)

You wouldn't know it listening to him, he almost always shits on us, he's a legend but he's a right prick at times these days.

He despises Venkys and rightly so.

If Eustace was to leave, I wonder if Sutton would be interested in the job. Sutton has at least  feelings for the club.

Cue the old Chaddyism "He knows the club" bullshit.

Replacement for Eustace would probably be to the end of the season. Not a bad gig for someone currently out of a job. Would also fit with Venkys short term approach.

6 months of payment with a free hit for a promotion on your CV with no real expectation, can disappear before the summer clearout happens in time for us to go down next season.

It would be hillarious going to relegation threated Derby when he's in the playoff with Rovers....

What a statement about the way the club is ran.

Warne left Rotherham to go to Derby when he'd just got them promoted.  And Derby were in league 1. So he must have been made promises so I expect Eustace will have to

You would hope that Eustace has learned from his experience here and will not make future job decisions based on promises.

Read the lay of the land. Look at past behaviour. See past managerial treatment. You can also look at Derby and see that they may even have an ownership change in the future. It's a big risk.

A leopard never changes its spots and all that...

When the media gets to know that Rovers been approached by Derby...it could well been happening one or two days ago and Eustace may have done his choice already surely....

If Steve Cooper was at the ground then he may had been there for whatever reason.

Steve Cooper info was nonsense.

Next.

Unsurprising, that would actually have been a relatively good appointment.

If Eustace does leave, I like the idea of Warnock until the end of the season. He'd have them bang up for it.

Sincerely hope Eustace stays though. You'd hope Balaji and Madame would have been on the blower to Waghail demanding to know what in the actual fuck is going on.

Is it time to start a new manager thread? Clubs don't often make official approaches for a manager if they deal isn't pretty much already done. I can only think of the fella at QPR, Beale, who knocked back a premier league club (only to eff off to Rangers 2 weeks later mind) as a recent example of a club making an approach for a manager and not being successful.

That would imply they keep up to speed with events at the club and that they actually care 😂.
