Not only would it give us the best chance of play offs, but would really stick it to the male chauvinist pigs like Barton Brazil et al. We could do worse.

‘Beat chance of the play offs’ is beyond ludicrous.

I feel so much anger towards yourself and the comments on Eustace.

Calm yourself. I'm a stranger on the internet.

we see what happens in the next couple of days.

no I am not but I like Eustace alot, he done an excellent job and someone who you can see the connection between him, the players and the fans.

I have no idea who I would want to replace Eustace if he goes. I have no idea tbh.

Do you have any names or possible shortlist who you would want to replace him with if he does go?

all depends who is appoint sadly I don't have crystal ball to predict these things.

I dont even feel that angry, just disenchanted. Does it even matter really? Whoever comes in is destined to fail in these conditions.

I can tell you one thing. We arent going to lose Eustace, take the time to appoint a replacement AND make the top 6 with this team.

It’s going to be a manager till the end of the season ain’t it, once he sees that we have no money and half our team out of contract he will run a mile and we will really be in the mire  without a manager and a threadbare squad. Strap in folks, we are in for ‘another’ bumpy ride. What can we do but watch the house burn?

Not sure what people think, but I think rovers could do worse than see if we can tempt a serial winner like Emma hayes out of her USWNT contract. Think it would not only be a shrewd appointment but also a real statement of progression, not only for rovers, but for the men’s game as a whole. It’s about time we were trailblazers again.

Obviously, you're on the wind up with this one.

Why should Eustace leave?

Long term contract at Derby so even if they go down he can rebuild.

Affinity to the club he played for.

Family lives in the area.

Good sign on bonus and salary and a big bonus if he keep them up.

Doesn't have to deal with the tombola that is 13 players out of contract end season, and the uncertainty of extra funds, or even the club going tits up if rhe court case is lost.

Backing of a local  English owner worth 350 million and who loves his club and saved it  Familiar ring to it?

I'm sure when the dust settles there will still be people comparing it to the 70s and 80s when someone left to join someone else in a bid to try and normalise what is happening at Ewood under the filth.

Furphy, Lee, Smith & Kendall all left for clubs in a higher division

In for a bumpy ride? It feels like we have been in a paintmixer for the last 15 years.

If things don't go too well for JE at Derby, where does the rest of his family live? So we know which club he might go to #FamilyMatters

Simply put, Eustace is an ambitous young manager who prior to Xmas was faced with run of games that included the top four, had a physically tired and stretched squad, a lot of players injured or playing in pain and desperately needed fast support from above to help in his hour of need.

It did not happen. Our position of strength has been eroded and i doubt he now believes we will achieve the play offs.

He's been looking tired the last few weeks. He's tried his bollocks off. They all have. We are in a far better position now than when he came. Let him go nearer his family. He's done well.

There's only 2 boxes to tick for these shitehawks regarding a replacement, cheap and available.

Rob Edwards it is.

Early days to be talking about this when he hasn't even gone, but Gary O'Neil would be my shout

Are you a big fan of pissing into the wind?

So let's stop moaning about Venkys, if there is nothing more to do... Moaning about Venkys, is just as much pissing into the wind these days. It is what it is, so whoever comes in as manager, just accept it. Players that are signed, accept it. Players sold, accept it. End of story
