When the Portsmouth match was in doubt and an early inspection planned he was at home in Brighton leaving the arrangements to the locally based staff who were at Ewood. In all my dealings with professional football clubs I've never known a secretary not be there on match days.

That's what the clause is there for. Rovers could have offered him a new contract but didn't. I said we should have done months ago. Did you agree? 

He has taken training according to every media source. 

You are very quick to assume that he will go but given he is still here and meeting Waggott and Suhail suggested nothing is lost yet

So what you are saying is if you think the head coach should get to choose the players he is working with, that makes you exempt from being able to critique them? What utter bollocks.

He should have been given a new deal in the last few months but it shouldnt make a difference here either way. If we were run properly and gave him reasonable and competitive resources to do his job, then even if a side in the relegation zone activated his release clause, it would be laughed off.

As it is and regardless of how "decent" you think the January window was. 22nd placed Derby is a more attractive proposition to a talented "head coach" as opposed to 6th placed Rovers. If ever you wanted to sum up Venkys run Rovers.

Putting the club into administration takes the power from them and gives it  to the administrator.

I'm not an accounts man so perhaps someone will correct me but I was under the impression our considerable debt is owed to the owners rather than externally?

If that is the case it makes administration a non starter...they would have no control over how much the club was sold for...they would also only receive a percentage of the debt accured back.

IMO the court case changed everything. Venkys are tied to either covering any expenditure with the same cash in guarantees or indeed in seperate cash deposits with the courts. That could go on for years. Maybe that’s how Indian courts intentionally work. Since the court case began it appears that they have been putting in as little as they can and taking out as much as they can. That 40 million we talk about isn’t the clubs money, it’s their money.

Hope I’m wrong but I suspect this is bigger than just false promises to the manager.

I dont think the Court proceedings have any actual effect on us now but back when Waggott gave the infamous "coach" interview they were very much affecting us and seemingly changed their stance and attitude on us for good.

It does feel like we're moving (very slowly) towards some kind of end game and I suspect it's going to be tortuous in the meantime.

It is owed to Venkys London Ltd - the most up to date figure is £134 million.

This doesn’t include the sum they’ve ‘invested’ (buying the club + the issue of additional shares since - most recent figure £86.1 million)

I said that last season when they couldn't wait to get Wharton out, I buckled and came back, but this could well be the tipping point. 

Nothing good will ever come of this club until they piss off back under the rock.
