Was that before or after he gave away a penalty? Obviously it was before he was subbed off at half time. Kargbo won't be playing against £12m players every week - and I remain baffled that people never learn about their snap judgements on players. Tronstad was deemed as awful after his first few games. Brereton-Diaz a write off after 2 years. What you have quoted is quite the opposite of a snap judgement.

Popular Post SuperBrfc
4 minutes ago, Exiled_Rover said: Derby County literally wouldn't exist after 15 years of Venky rule. The fact we get 14k+ fans at every home game and are sitting in mid-table in the Championship after their years of mismanagement and neglect clearly demonstrates that we're a far bigger club than they could ever dream to be. Exactly. That's the thing that those who sneer at Rovers and our attendances, such as the small time North End and Dingle brigade, plus others, very conveniently overlook. If any of them had to put up with 15 years of this Venky's cursed bullshit, their attendances would be just as low, if not lower than ours. Their fans would be just as furious as ours and they would also have plenty walk away until new owners arrive. Far easier to just say "plastics" though and "shit support" from their bitter, jealous, small, glass houses. Keep on crowing about a shitbag like Ashley Barnes, who nobody around the world of football fans remembers or gives a damn about. That's as good as it gets for you, Dingles. Keep on crowing about some nobody doing a chicken dance at Ewood once upon a time as a goal celebration. Joe Garner or something? Who? Nobody knows who he is or who your club is around the world. That's as good as it gets for you, Nobend pillocks. While we have memories of the real Garner, Shearer, Sutton, Newell, Gallacher, Jansen, Cole, Duff, Dunn, Tugay and many, many, more. While we look back on the damage we did to the big guns before these scumbags arrived. We will be back once the poison is removed and the Dingles and Nobbers know it, which is why they see nothing wrong with Venky's. As for Derby and that reporter...dream on. Your attendances have won what for you over the last 50 years? Big club, though. You're only getting Eustace because of our disgraceful owners. Dingles and Nobend are only beating us or getting near us due to our disgraceful owners. Bit of a theme there. But no, "plastics" it is.

He talks like this is a functional football club - as Alex Crook pointed out this is our third manager in just over three years that has walked out the door. We have 13 senior players under contract when the summer transfer window opens. We've banked over £30m and spent less than £2.5m. Also why's he dressed like Brains from Thunderbirds? I’m aware of what you have stated above. As for his dress code, your asking the wrong person

Jordan's whole argument was based on a rumour, speculation that Eustace would go because Derby is nearer to where he currently lives. I haven't seen any quote from Eustace mentioning or moaning about the commute to Blackburn. It's just a lazy assumption made to justify his arrogance.

But it will no doubt be cited as a major factor if he does go. Jordan was right in so far as that particular excuse is complete bollux. Where's he's probably wrong is to wear his owner's hat and assume that Eustace will be demanding more than originally agreed from the owners because we happen to find ourselves in 6th. As opposed to the owners/Waghail reneging on previous promises made to him.

They had him sussed after his second run, where he booked for simulation (on 25mins) because he did very little after that other than get tackled/out muscled until he was subbed off 40mins later. We all want him to be a success and no one is writing him off yet, jeez. Just don't get too carried away either.

I miss it but, I will not financially back anything remotely connected to our current regime.. were they to leave my returning support , and those of many friends , would be instant . I wonder just how low the numbers of those attending will go….every day there’s another nail. I yearn for the day when we’re free….. I don’t attend matches to “financially back the regime”. It doesn’t even cross my mind. I attend matches to support the team in blue and white halves, like I have for 60 years. Staying away as a “protest” against the owners achieves little except long term damage to the club. Crowds could dwindle to zero but that still does not mean they’d relinquish ownership.

Considering he put on record at the end he'd happily take £500k for the manager (the most important man at any club, and one that he said earlier in the piece had exceeded expectations) - it's no wonder he failed at Palace.

...
Was just thinking about the stay aways and potentially those on here that are looking at not going back until they have left. The other route I was thinking about was the total opposite. Turn out in force every game, get behind the team. wouldn't this encourage growth and spending in the Jan and summer?

They have no interest in growth as shown by the multiple times we've sold out the ground and then the following match/season tickets have been sat in the top 10% of the league's pricing table. It would make the club more money to have 15k ST holders at £250 (adult) than they do half of that (thereabouts) at £350. That's before you consider reducing walk on costs and the money people spend at the game. They just don't want the scrutiny of an engaged fanbase over 20k weekly.

Devil's advocate mode: I want Eustace to stay, but is it a bit like the Joe Rothwell situation? Maybe they've cajoled him to stay until the end of the season but is it better having an unhappy manager on the touchline or a fired up Warnock/Allardyce for a few months?
