JDT and Eustace both had actual ambitions for the club and themselves. They wanted to actually achieve something. The owners clearly don't. I'm not sure why anyone would be on Venky's side when it comes to either one.

A match almost seems like an afterthought given the many levels of disarray at the club right now, but I'm unbelievably pissed off at this situation coming ahead of a big match on Wednesday.

Eustace took training today knowing he wouldn't be here on Wednesday night to choose the team. We're going to be left with Johnson and the motley crew of Benson and Lowe (is he even still around?) trying to cobble together a game plan for a team who must be incredibly upset and frustrated.

A Wigan supporting friend of mine laughed when I told him we'd got Sanderson from Brum ON LOAN.

A Signing from the league below, on loan...if that doesn't scream non-investment, I don't know what does.

That statement by the club is an absolute disgrace. A bunch of short term loans and freebies come in and half the squad out of contract. It's an abomination they think we're in a good place. 

I can't blame JE one bit. If I wasn't a fan and it was just a job I'd have tucked off long long ago.

So, the manager has dumped me on Valentine's week.

The club is deluded enough to publicly state a couple of loans and Kargbo are 'significant investment' 12 months on from the Wharton sale. 

All the players have rapidly expiring contracts.

And the real kicker, I now have to label @jim mk2 as an ITKer and give him a badge or something. 

2025 is hitting peak misery early doors.

Sounds like that's exactly what happened, he had no interest in meeting with Eustace, with us or against us type of player. 11 of his type and we'd be a Premier League outfit.

I wonder what on earth the players are thinking as individuals and as a collective. Players are professionals but they aren't robots and they talk to each other and with all their other connections across the game. They must be pulling their hair out and getting all sorts of messages and calls from outside the club. It's a huge distraction before a big game on Weds and must inevitably have many of them questioning what they're doing here
