Ffs I give up. We're truly in the shit when our own supporters are so fucking blind. We've no chance of getting our club back. We're truly up shit creek with no paddle First ever post on this site. I can’t believe the amount of people spouting utter shite on the Facebook supporters page defending the owners who are “spending all they are allowed to”. These people are posing as intelligent and articulate ‘thinker’. For that reason, I honestly see no way back for the club. Stockholm Syndrome has set in like stone for so many, they now can’t see the wood for the trees. Waggott needs to get on that phone to India and tell them to offer somebody like cooper a 6 month contract with a very handsome bonus if he pulls off the unthinkable. We cannot waste yet another opportunity and just employ some plodder. We are absolutely knackered next season anyway with our contract and “owner” situation.

Yes, I’m afraid these people are real, and not all Burnley fans on the wind - up. I can’t relate to them at all. It’s infuriating and exasperating they are so thick. That said, the situation isn’t their fault. Everything leads to the owners’ door.

The more people involved at a dysfunctional club like ours, the more chance of conflict, disagreements and ineffiency. I think I have been more than clear on everything to do with the recruitment side of the team and what I think went on behind the scenes in terms of power struggles, disagreements and comparisons on transfer targets. 26 minutes ago, roversfan99 said: As an aside, that £5m promise is totally unfounded. Is it? cos you trust the source of the info? Just like we know now that McBurnie was target despite you dismissing it. Here a question for you, should Rovers have sign one of three players of Bamford, Thomas-Asante and McBurnie who were Eustace's target for the striker signing? wilsdenrover
Re the family/commute thing (having thought about it further). I think there are things people put up with when in a job they enjoy but become an annoyance when the job turns shit. Does that make sense??

As both of them suggest. Richard Dinnis taught on supply at CRGS and advised my daughter to become a Sports Journalist. A career she pursued for several years with the BBC and still freelances for them. So always a soft spot for him. Found out later that I worked with his sister too

Erm... the management don't want promotion. Not sure how you don't get this, now that we are on at least the third rinse and repeat of the cycle. Waggot, Suhail Pasha and their cronies DON'T WANT PROMOTION. Full stop. Got it now? For the record, I don't want promotion either - it isn't like the goons would actually spend any of the windfall on trying to be competitive at that level, is it? The only potential upside is that the coffers would be somewhere approaching full enough for the bastards who have stolen our club and our dreams, to feck the fuck off and sell. All we know, Chaddy, is that Rovers DIDN'T sign any of those players. The lying scheming conniving scunner Pasha told someone to their face that one of those players was having a medical at the club. That turned out true, didn't it, not.

The problem here is our bastard Indian owners, who keep making shit appointments to board positions and sabotaging their own club, whenever we are in with a shout.
