This "I don't want short-term success" bollocks..

What other metric is there to judge a manager on if not the success on the pitch? If that success is attained sooner how on earth can that be a negative thing? Especially with the financial rewards that come with it.. It's always a 'project'.. 'Building for a few years'..  We've had enough.. In my opinion that kind of language could be used to soften expectations and buy a manager more time..

I'd rather have a manager come in and think short-term, get us into those play-off's and give us a crack at the Premier League..

I’ll take short term success this year, thanks. If not, we might as well still be on Tony’s never ending journey.

Umm Troy Deeny a mate of Eustace having a private conversation and bleating to the press, oh poor hard done too John.  bit iffy if you ask me. Funny how when players arrive they seem to praise Brockhall  ect.

Only one thing really, RTID.😎

Players who arrive aren’t going to slag off the training facilities are they?

Im not sure how people find the suggestion that Brockhall is falling into disrepair so hard to believe.

Nor me. You only have to look at Ewood to know the state of Brockhall.

I suspect we will if you're including next season and beyond in that.

As we drown there's just that one straw to try and clutch on to that we might somehow go up this season.

Not making much progress with doing what we both wanted on the managerial front (Warnock/Allardyce in)are we?

Gosh you are melodramatic! Drown?

We aren't going to suddenly collapse now Eustace has nipped to the bank. We are already three from three without him.

And be warned. Don't let your love in extend to crediting Eustace with wins, when he isnt here any longer!

And yes no new manager as yet. But I'm not concerned in the slightest. Let the four lads carry on for me. Team spirit and harmony, loyalty and togetherness is our new strapline.

Courtesy of our dearly departed manager as he makes his way To Hull, oh I mean Coventry, my mistake West Brom, doh silly me PNE, gosh me and my memory Derby County. The standard bearers of how to run a football club.

Absolutely loved the dismissal of Simon Jordan's "analysis" too.

To be fair to Simon Jordan he was cutting about Venkys appointment of Kean, which made Jim White come to his defence which Jordan didn't seem impressed with.

There's not much point you replying to my posts if you're either not going to read them properly or ignore what I've put. I clearly said next season and beyond.

There you go again with your obsession over what he might or might earn at Derby. Its utterly bizarre.

You've also done a complete 180 from earlier in the week when you said we needed to appoint Allardyce/Warnock short term in your new found eagerness after one win to assert we're better off without Eustace.

And as I've said previously the fact he'd have rather gone anywhere rather than stay at Ewood raises major red flags with everyone apart from you.

Tell you what if we go for bloody Ricky Wellens with 150+ applications I am done, done, done!!

well they`ve had to sabotage two bright and progresive managers because we were threatening the top six.i reckon this time they`ll go for a someone who won`t.i,e wellens, well out of his depth in the championship and will take us to the bottom half,it`s not difficult to visualise it

I voted for Allardyce in the forum vote. Warnock would also suffice. I also suggested a Travis Tronstad axis. In also saying the four coaches could take over for me I'm actually being very consistent.

We don't have stand out star players. We do have great unity. I wish to preserve that. I feel thats our strength and our best chance of success this year. The four options above wouldnt affect that.

I can't think of any other managerial options that wouldn't disrupt our harmony. So im ok with any of the above.

I dont care how much extra Eustdce is earning. You still don't get it to you? I would simply just respect him more if he said 'I've been offered a longer contract, on more money and I'm going to leave for those reasons'.

Few could argue with that.

To be honest, if you’re not done now you never will be.

We have just forced a manager out that had a relegation threatened side in a play off place, because we couldn’t match his ambition. All he wanted was player contract renewals and a small budget.

It’s about time we all boycotted until the rats piss off back under the rock Anderson found them under.

Nixon said so earlier on Lancs. Said 3 are favourites( think he said they'd been interviewed) , 2 foreigners and the other he couldn't say cos he's currently employed.

Lol, first question "are we going to have to pay any compo to get you here?" "Yes" "Okay, that'll be all. Thanks for coming."

Troy Deeney on Talkshite earlier today knocking Simon Jordans comments out of the water.

Eustace left because:

·        He was promised funds if he kept us up, those funds never materialised.

·        He worked under 3 directors of football, he didn’t want that.

·        He has 10 players out of contract in the summer and the club refused to discuss new deals

·        Eustace himself has 18 months to go and they refused to commit long term.

This isn’t anything many us fans didn’t know, its an absolute bloody shit show.

VENKYS OUT – NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

How many of those 10 out of contract players are loans? And which of these would you renew? Hedges?
