We did, we just made them too late in the window to make a difference.

I disagree they were signings of the right sort of quality.

They need to go and give the town its pride back.

It's bonkers, isn't it?

Imagine being loathed by tens of thousands of people AND it's costing you tens of millions of pounds a year for the privilege. Just sell.

Just as concerned with how many of our players Eustace will try to snipe should he keep Derby up...

Imagine Weimann, Batth and Dolan will be on his list once their contracts expire.

Then wouldn't be at all surprised to see him move in for Travis, Tronstad, Brittain or Hyam... fortunately Derby aren't absolutely loaded, so he can't take them all.

Simon Jordan with a lot to say. Gives you a different perspective of the other side. I do agree with one part and that is if he’s not 100% committed to the job let him go. We need someone who wants to be here and oversee the squad rebuild in the summer. We can not as a club plan ahead with this uncertainty hanging over us. No players left so a massive overhaul is needed regardless. Hate the owners, Hate the board, Hate the regime, but we still need this done to compete

He wanted Quality signings. We didn’t make quality signings.

Sanderson was his choice.

Dennis and Kargbo both shown their quality yesterday.

Jordan talking shite, as per. He talks like this is a functional football club  - as Alex Crook pointed out this is our third manager in just over three years that has walked out the door.

We have 13 senior players under contract when the summer transfer window opens. We've banked over £30m and spent less than £2.5m.

Also why's he dressed like Brains from Thunderbirds?

Listened to that today too.

I wouldn't piss on Simon Jordan if he was on fire.

He’s a twat, all they need to do is ask the long suffering Blackburn Rovers supporters, we know ! It is us who have suffered 15 years of this ownership and you would struggle to find one who would have any malice towards JDT or Eustace.

And Forshaw & Woordow looked every inch like dead wood.

Kargobo looks like he wants to make an impact, and worked his socks off. Dennis, meh - didn't contribute much IMO.

Yep, Kargbo showed some pace without much at the end of it, Dennis looked off the pace because he is nowhere near fit and our new 4th choice centre back used to play with him at Birmingham. Coupled with a sub left back, a striker who scores a goal a season and Adam bloody Forshaw, what more does he want to get promoted.

I really like Simon Jordan and agree with him the vast majority of the time but think he's wide of the mark there.

Alex Crook comes across well in that segment.

He was talking generically from his perspective of being a former owner of a football club and as always to provide a contrarian viewpoint. He knows absolutely nothing about the detailed background of the last 15 years at Blackburn Rovers.

Did they? I must have missed that quality shining through in our 2-0 defeat. Kargbo looked ok, I’ll give you that but Dennis hasn’t played any football in about 8 months. Not what you need from an impact player. Poor window however you want to try to dress it up.

I hope JE stays. But if he goes our 5 season tickets will still be renewed.

I have nobnend friends and they never tire of telling me that our support is dwindling as the "plastics" give up going to Ewood.

It’s good to see posts like these in that they offer balance ..but, I do wonder how much understanding of the issues this poster has.

“ Plastics “ came and went in the nineties..a large number of today’s non attendees fought hard to keep the identity of the club…when the poster is more concerned by his nobend friends than the reality of BRFC it’s a worry ……but, each to their own !

Everyone getting excited over Kargbo because of his pace but after a couple of runs yesterday Wolves had him sussed and he was little threat after that.

He could come good but he needs more than a weird hop and a sprint to make it happen.

when I looked at the director box I see Gestede and Owen sitting on the same row and next to Pasha, Waggott and another people

That's bollocks. I sit 15m away - They're never together.

Im not in favour of the Forshaw signing at all but thought he played quite well tbf.

Woodrow - good grief. Could easily have got himself sent off. Otherwise wouldnt have realised he was on the pitch.

Kargbo - will have to reserve judgment, no point having a bit of pace if there's no end product.

Dennis - might be something there but will probably be fully fit somewhere around the time he's ready to go back.

If they werent Eustace's choices it's easy to see why he's pissed off.

He did, bang on the money, and I've always dismissed him as someone who simply regurgitates internet rumours before now.

I'm not really a fan of Simon Jordan overall, I disagree with a lot of his views on other topics.

Although he's not really close to what has gone on at BRFC, it's worth listening to him here, playing devil's advocate and drawing his experience as a club owner (where he succeeded and then failed). It gives that neutral and measured insight in to how our esteemed CEO and COO might see, frame and spin things in the next few days

Fwiw I don't agree with him, I think he's being a bit harsh on Eustace, I don't think he fully understands the extent to which a series of managers have been bare-face lied to and hung out to dry by the owners.

So a Premier League CB (who they paid £12m for by the way) 'sussed' Kargbo out after a few runs? Was that before or after he gave away a penalty? Obviously it was before he was subbed off at half time.

Kargbo won't be playing against £12m players every week - and I remain baffled that people never learn about their snap judgements on players. Tronstad was deemed as awful after his first few games. Brereton-Diaz a write off after 2 years.
