It takes balls to walk away from a club in the top 6 to join a club in the bottom 3. He's standing by his principles and not being taken for a mug.

I've only got 40-years under my belt. Stopped going some time ago. Feel for genuine fans who still trap up, feel for the staff, the players, and all of us who know what a fucking mockery the Loons have made our club. I saw through it early, but persevered, thinking there was some light that might emerge at the end of a long tunnel. That light was extinguished many moons ago. I've said many times how much I hate/resent their very presence in our lives. Good , honest, loyal people are walking away.....Jack's legacy, they aren't fit to polish it. A disgrace. I hope Henry Winter exposes something.

Said it the other day, Eustace is gone. He is blaming the travel but knew that when he joined. We are top 6 at the moment and fighting for the playoffs.

Forget the manager, forget the owners, forget the management- the fans and the players deserve so much better. I hope Derby get relegated.

most of the more noisy fanbase stood in the blackburn end,these days the fans are more spread out and certainly less demonstrative,the last time we had a true home fans end was the era of the unrestricted home seating in the darwen end,which was great and certainly gave venkys and kean a right old slagging🙂

This is as big a humiliation as I can remember in all my years supporting Rovers.

We have lost Managers before but never before has one taken a big step down to go to another club because Rovers are such a shit heap.

I was thinking the same myself earlier.

He has taken quite a principled stance. He made it crystal clear what was required a couple of  months in advance of the window opening,  two or three players of additional quality to help the group in particular a striker and left winger.

He was obviously told money was available but that help was not forthcoming and predictably we fell away during January.

When reinforcements did finally arrive it was a rag tag assortment of short term deals and loans which arrived at the eleventh hour. None of whom are properly match fit anyway.

Thats even before you consider the contract situation.

Good on him for sticking to his guns and not putting up with it.

Don’t forget at the end of the season he can’t just quit. JDT tried that and was told he had to buy out his contract.

Therefore he would be reliant on a team coming in and meeting the release clause.
