Total nonsense Eliot. Given the known financial restrictions at the club how has Eustace not been supported? At least 3 quality players coming through the door in the January window and the best two transfer windows in recent history. The guy took the job on a very good salary and with no major expectations asked of him. You are now writing as though he was promised a war chest and that promotion was a pre requisite. Neither are true so why have you omitted this? This guy has deceived the club and is now conveniently using the clubs known instability as a pretext for suddenly wanting to leave leave and in unforgivably courting an approach from another club mid-season. I appreciate you’re no fan of BEFC but whose side are you on? As a ST holder of many years you’re certainly don’t represent me with your unsubstantiated appraisal which completely fails to address the dire financial situation that Derby are currently in. Where does Eustace state he doesn’t feel supported by the club? This is just a media created ruse. As a reporter you have a responsibility to report facts not subjective opinions based on heresay. As a supporter and long standing ST holder I find your statement to be insulting and very misleading."

Well done Elliott Jackson - I’ve been critical of his lack of being critical but glad he won’t ignore it longer

Mr Bayes needs to do the same as well

I heard Gally yesterday morning too on Talksport discussing the game and Eustace.

He's another one who needs a rocket up his arse and to stop defending/blindly ignoring what's going on.

It could be an interesting day.

Whichever way it goes, someone at the club needs to come out and explain how it has got to this, but I won’t hold my breath.

The foundations are crumbling for Venkys

There’s no where to hide anymore. There has been that many managers and that many executives that even the most hard-faced sod will struggle to absolve them of blame

With the court case still hanging over them, a CEO who has been whispering of retirement for years now and another manager leaving for concerns around the Clubs ambition - how much longer will they hang on?

For everything that is happening I still have hope that their time is coming to an end

It's a decent article but far too late. Written after "the horse" (i.e. Eustace) has already bolted.

He's spent months trying to portray the image that everything that happens at the Club is normal and to be expected. Nothing to see here.

And people wonder why we can't muster a protest as a fan base.

The club will probably make him retract it and tell him to apologise which he will do

Jackson was pretty scathing in his latest podcast too, sounds like he's hit the wall with it, and there's no other way to report the situation.

He also mentioned that in his opinion, the in-house media team do a great job in the circumstances, alluding to these "circumstances" being how access and therefore any critique of the hierachy is locked off to local media. The club controls the output...

Reading the comments section on the LT is enough to make your blood boil.

Venky’s and the club can do no wrong in the eyes of this little gang of vomit-inducing superfans that plague every article with their nonsense.

That's the guy I highlighted a few weeks ago who has consistently been saying he didnt want us putting the Club's future at risk by spending money during the January window and we'd avoided relegation for the season so he wanted us to develop the youngsters and build slowly and so on and so forth.

He sticks out like a sore thumb even in the sea of insanity that constitutes the LT comments section.

Very difficult to believe it's a genuine account. If he did actually  think its wrong for Jackson  to allege Eustace doesnt feel he's been supported, why would he be swapping a side in 6th for one in 22nd?

As I've mentioned previously the LT site wont allow me to register for some reason. It may be something Im doing wrong but it makes me a bit suspicious that the whole comments section is a scam. Could do with a few people going on there and giving this person and those like him some grief along the lines of asking them to name the last time something like this happened.
